June, 2004Dear MaryJane, My best friend shared your recent magazine with me and I am hooked! I love it. I went to the Farm Chicks Antique Show in May. (I’ve been wanting to ever since I read about their last show.) I was delighted to see your booth there, and purchased a hat and a Sweet Lena Iris in a painted pot. I love the pot too, and it was nice to meet the charming lady who painted it! Currently my husband and I are having a water well drilled on 10 acres. If water comes in, we will buy the land and begin to slowly build a “new” life at age 45 and 46. I hope to include many of the ideas shared in your magazine in our new life. Thanks to your “come visit the farm” invitation (extended by your lovely ladies at the booth), my friend and I are excitedly planning a day with you this summer. We’ll be in touch! Janice Carruthers
