Hi,

I read your story when I was searching for info on wilderness rangers in the Uintas Mountains. It's looking like that's how I'll be spending my summer (I was told I have a 95% chance). I'm very excited about it!! I'm also very excited about coming across your website, and will be doing a big bulk order once I find out for sure. I think you've followed your dreams, and that's wonderful.  I've tried to live my life in a similar fashion. I've spent the last two years on a mountain bike touring around Asia.

Have a wonderful day!!

Good morning,

My name is Nancy Beaumont, I am an artist and a child passenger safety advocate (see our web site at www.saferidenews.com). I live in Edmonds, Washington about 12 miles north of Seattle. I am so glad I found you.

The Seattle Times had a small paragraph on your web site in today's paper.  What a great find!  I love your site, your views and your good common sense. I have sent your link to my daughters.  You are warm and friendly, and the type of woman to invite over for afternoon tea — out in the back yard on a warm sunny day, a small table with white linen, and Grandma's English Bone teacups.

I feel we are all teachers and all students. Your willingness to share your views, ideas and news is wonderful. I am not fully into organic, but would like to be — where to start? Seems so overwhelming — I think you will be a wonderful source.

Take care,
Nancy

I have just purchased my third issue "Plateful" and love everything in it. This inspires me to keep looking for a small farm somewhere here in the mountains of Western North Carolina and do on a small scale what you are doing on a larger scale. Keep encouraging us to live a simpler life — it's a desperately needed step away from our country's dependence on fast-paced, high-tech lifestyles. Thank you for all you do. I look forward to your next issue.
