Dear MaryJane, I was lucky enough to find your Magazine, but so sorry to hear
that there were only two other issues! And sorrier still to find
that the Premiere Issue is SOLD OUT! I was wondering if there might
be any way I could get a photocopy? It doesn't have to be glossy
and fancy, I just want to read it.
October 2003 It was a pleasure to hear from you. I love to write but have never done anything like this before. Thank you for your prompt reply, it was a great way to start my day! Also, I never did express my genuine pleasure over the chicken issue! All my married life I wanted to live in the country and have a small farm/organic garden, with goats, chickens etc., but my then-husband told me absolutely no. Imagine my dismay when my son came home only a few weeks ago to tell how daddy and his new wife were going to get chickens! I am obviously well rid of that fella but your magazine inspired me to do it anyway and my brother just agreed to let me keep chickens at his place! Is it possible to subscribe without purchasing from the catalog? I am a single mom with a small income and make everything from scratch to save money. Finally, I wanted to know more about your farm school. Could a woman with some free time but not a lot of cash come and help out for a week for a little retreat to renew the mind and spirit? Thank you for your time and blessings to you and your staff,

October 2003 Hi hoe! Thanks for your inspiration and gentle words. I appreciate all the info. especially as my husband & I are ready to move from our little piece of earth, a small organic farm, in New Hampshire, to live on a very small piece of sandy soil in a small city in Florida. We leave here with mixed emotions but are hopeful about what we can create in our new life, thanks to your words of wisdom. One idea we have is to work on a community garden project on city land — any info/insight on this venture? Thank you for putting yourself and your products 'out there'.
October 2003 MaryJane,
October 2003 Thanks for the generous box of goodies! Can't wait to try them, and of Penelope
October 2003 Dear MaryJane, Hello! My name is Connie Russell, and I purchased one of your Thank You so much,
October 2003 MaryJane, Thanks for offering to send copies of your magazine to the women listed below.I really enjoyed our conversations today (1. re:subscriptions 2. going bra-less in Massachusetts!). My daughter and I have raved over your Organic Southwestern Couscous and although she has stored her large varied order for emergency situations I think she will be breaking into the couscous box as soon as we have our first snow storm. We may even hope for a bit of an emergency just to give us an excuse to "munch with MaryJane". This is an unbelievable literary achievement. I find something new to absorb every time I pick it up to peruse. I know the women whose names are below will deeply appreciate receiving a copy and join in the MaryJanes Farm Movement. Gratefully,
