| So it was your turn. Good, I am glad you got a good rain. Is it not amazing how many limbs get thrashed out of trees in a storm. We have 13 or 14 trees around our house and four are pecans. Even though only one really ever gives a good crop of nuts, they shed more than enough limbs. |

| After the big storms last weekend, were having some beautiful days. Sunny, not humid, it's great! I hope Texas is out of that awful rain cycle for good now! I'm wishing all you Texas sisters get bright sunny days, too! |

| I guess I was hoping we could ease into this, but we went from cool, cloudy rainy days to BAM, hot humid days. I wish the humidity would give us a break. 95° with this humidity is way hotter that 95° should be. A good norther is needed. One big positive is my car is finally cool. |

Oh how uncomfortable you must be. humidity and heat is not fun! I would be melting in that heat.
I would be glad to send you some of the Temps in my area. mostly in the 60's or lower.

There was something on Facebook in Minnesota where the road was really hot and it buckled and the cars driving over it were jumping every time they hit it. That looked so scary, a lot of cars ran over it.

| When we were in Minnesota and Wisconsin 18 years ago, it was June, and roadwork was underway. We kept seeing people pushing a stick with a roll of "toilet tissue" at the end. It was putting something into cracks in the pavement. Now I know they were not putting toilet tissue in the cracks, but I have always wondered what they were doing??? Here in Texas they scrape the old asphalt off the highway, crumble it up, mix with new and more tar(or whatever they use) then they fill huge belly trucks with "hot mix" dump it out and spread and roll it. We have to wait in long lines as they work. Finally, when they finish the black top, they paint the stripes again. |

| We've had some gorgeous days in the 80's with evenings in the 60's. I'm in heaven! I so enjoy cool nights. I just cannot sleep with the noise of the a/c. |

Just heard on the news that there's some severe weather warning and some of our fellow farmsister's states. Please do take care and be careful! Horrible all the fires that are going on!
Here we have had a wonderful summer. Did get some rain this weekend. Always a good thing! |

| I heard about the twisters in Minnesota and emailed Mary Jo early today, she is ok. The worst was west and north of her. I did not hear about fires. |

| Our weather today and tomorrow are my ideal. 74 today with a good breeze and just a couple of showers. 59 tonight and 80 tomorrow with low humidity. Heavenly. Next week we get 90s with heat indexes in the hundreds! Thank goodness for air conditioning. |

Sounds like nice weather Bonnie, ours was pretty nice today and I hope it stays that way for the weekend.
It still is pretty out there right now. I have a little blueberry bush and picked a bunch off it today. I hope to get enough to make some jelly this year just from it.
It has had a lot of berries this year, I get tired of picking.:D

| We had Sun, blue skies humidity and 99° today. I was out in it early morning trying to corral a crazy red cow. Then from 3:00pm until almost 5:00 I watered horses and once again tried to get miss crazy to go in the trap pen. She remembered me and my vehicle from this morning and said "No". I was here all alone, so I called our neighbor and he came on his four wheeler. She obeyed. I had water, but looked like a red lobster. The AC sure felt good when I came inside. |
