Can you feel it ladies, that occasional nip the air? Have you started dreaming of mums to decorate your front door? For those of us in the north country we are a month or less away from a frost, while many of you are having very hot temps.
Let's have our annual fall swap to help everyone dream of cooler weather and those beautiful rich colors.
Sign-ups will be through August 25th with mail out September 15th. Giving us plent of time for packages to arrive by the first day of fall.

I would love to be in this one but not sure how soon my surgery rill be. I saw the doctor on Friday and had my blood drawn. I am waiting on the results. I might hear tomorrow.
I will sure watch while I can.
Maybe next swap I will have all my body parts :)

| Julie, please add me to the list!! You know how much I love Fall. Sadly, we haven't seen too much of a cool breeze to suggest the new season is coming. BUT............I have seen my Shumard Oak tree acorns fall along with the Laurel Oak tree. The acorns are still small but they are visible on the little branch debris we get sometimes from a thunderstorm, so I know they are busy growing up there in the trees. Our local Sycamore tree has already started dropping a few brown leaves. Down here, this tree is the first to drop it's leaves and the last to grow new ones in the Spring. Sadly, the leaves just turn brown, but I have noticed the tree at the end of the tree dropping some leaves. Also, I noticed in the park on my daily walks, that the Sweet Gum trees all have their little spiny pods that are now still green, loaded up in the branches. The Longleaf Pines are rapidly growing their new pinecones. Some are dropping early and soon many more mature ones will fall. Also, my little Satsuma Orange tree is loaded down with dark green fruit that is growing bigger and bigger each week. Hopefully , come early November, they will start to ripen and we will have a fine crop by Christmas. Last year the tree basically took the year off and we only had a few. But this year is different and I am happy!! |

Your sweet fall package was waiting at my door today! Beautiful gifties!
The salt and pepper shakes are adorable. How cute are those candy corn bowl fillers! The pumpkin doilies, napkins and banner are going to be put right in use. I'm not sure how I will decorate the banner, but the ideas are rolling through my mind. The little prayer quilt is lovely and surprised with the cross sewn inside!
Going to grab my tea and look through the M.E. book right now. Thank you for swapping. Yours is going out in the morning mail.

| WOW! Denise. The USPO came through again - a day earlier than the receipt said. So happy you like what I sent. I enjoyed making the candy corn bowl fillers and prayer quilt, and finding the other goodies to send. Enjoy the book. I made some of the fillers for my bowl, too. |

Your package to me did not arrive today. It was shown on my Informed delivery email that is WAS going to be delivered, but it was not put in my box. BOO HOO!! I will get it when we return from vacation.
