Yes! I think so! I just found it….Farmgirl Grammar, under Each Other. Part of it is learning new words for 6 weeks total, if you earn all 3 levels.

This might be a helpful site:
https://www.merriam-webster.com/word-of-the-day/calendar

I was looking for a unique word and found it. I didn't sign up for the e-mails - I get way too many to keep up with as it is LOL!

It's not a new word but I've always found the word purple to be an interesting word. Who would have come up with that kind of a name for such a wonderful color?

Monday word of the day:

8. Nudiustertian

To make it simple, the word nudiustertian refers to two days ago (that is to say the day before yesterday). Unfortunately, it has fallen into disuse, although it is far more melodious than the day before yesterday.

There's a word I know!!! Here's a little more info - I don't know if it happens in sheep but cows can get what's called by farmers a D.A. (stands for displaced abomasum). It happens when the abomasum fills up with gas (due to stress, bad feed, etc) and flips out of place. I'm not 100% sure which side is which but I think if it goes to the left they will go off feed and be sick until the vet does surgery to fix it. If it goes to the right and it's not fixed within I think 24 hours it can be fatal. Luckily in the 19 years we've been milking we've only had one shortly after we started.
