Our leaves are slowly turning as well and the temps are 50’s to 70’s this week. It was instant change after the hurricane passed through!
Praying that all goes well for you Debbie, and soon on the way to recovery. Keep us posted please.

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Thank you I will be unable to write, not a good lefty. But my son Kent will contact Debbie K. and give her an update.
I will be back on when I feel up to it and I hope it will be soon.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Our mornings are feeling like fall and the air smells like fall. I love it! Still warming up to the 80s during the day. A nice time to go for a walk. The leaves are turning and falling. I’m driving over the mountain on Saturday to visit my aunties and I think the trees will be beautiful on the drive!
Debbie, I think the waiting for surgery is almost more stressful than the big day itself. Soon it will be behind you!

My shoulder surgery has been postponed Saturday until Oct. 27th. My replacement joints were not made as they thought. Some one dropped the ball.

So sorry for the delay Debbie - but thankful they caught the mistake before the surgery.

Take care of you and enjoy the unexpected days to enjoy autumn.

Hugs,

Laura

Wow - I know it's hard to get replacement parts for our machinery right now but I never would have guessed it was the same for replacement human parts!!!! How frustrating!

Nice quote Debbie, that would be a good one to have framed!

Our leaves turned back in July! Many fell from the trees, just like deep autumn.. Then in September we got enough rain, only about an inch, but some of the trees were revived. Sadly many may be dead. Drought is an ugly word!
There is something going on with pecan trees and I have never seen it before. Coming back from town on the 1st, I noticed it. Every pecan tree is covered in a sticky substance, the leaves are shiny...but the weight of sticky stuff is really dragging the tree limbs down.
We really need some of heavens moisture!

November, (moon of the red grass) is my second favorite. Usually by late Nov. The trees . are. bare legged then we can see "their bones!" It is fun to try to identify. the many
Varieties.
