We are all good here in Northern Ca and my parents are good in Grangeville, ID. My sister lives in Southern CA just outside LA so her and her hubby are bracing for hurricane Hilary. They don't expect to get hit too awful hard....we will see. They went and prepped this morning buying extra water, batteries, food ect. And have their windows covered,,,,prepared for flooding too.
Lots of prayers going up for everyone. Please do keep us posted!

We have some smoke here but all is good in my area! North and inland are getting fires and some South.

Yes, praying for everyone out on the West coast right now! This is so scary and both the fires and the storms in Southern California are all so unpredictable!

WE had a crazy night last night! Literally out of no where....not predicted on any weather forecast dark clouds rolled in and lightening started! There was continuous lightening for over an hour! THEN the storm was viewable on the weather forecast radar! Winds came....thunder started and we got rain for hours! The weirdest ever! I live just outside of Yosemite National Park, in the Sierra Foothills of California.
Today the yards are a mess and we await the rains tonight. That's the outer edge of Hurricane Hillary that we've been expecting. So I've been getting laundry done and baked 2 loaves of sourdough bread. Comfort activities for me. lol We will see what happens next! Prayers for you all in these crazy storms and fires. Stay safe friends!

WOW,Jenn, that was a nasty storm that showed up the other night! Glad you were not injured and able to still cook and do laundry in case there is a loss of power. Stay safe and I hope the worst is over.
