Linda you reminded me how much I miss watching the storms blow out of the west or north. Before I moved to Paris I lived in Howe, highest point between there and the coast. My house was higher than Hwy75 so when I looked west all I saw was rolling hills - same toward the north. The storms were a little scary but beautiful at the same time coming nearer to me. Here in Paris surrounded by houses and trees I barely see the sky.

Yes, Sara - When I lived in Illinois growing up I remember sitting in the garage with the door open watching the rains blowing sideways. Then we'd hear we'd had "the tail end of a tornado".

Two days ago we were talking about storms and now we are under a tornado watch till 11p.m. In the 1980s a tornado hit Paris and killed six people so tornado watches are taken seriously here. I lived a hundred miles west when it hit but 100 miles to any tornado is too close for me.

We have a severe thunderstorm warning in effect right now and a watch until 11:00pm has just come out. We may have 60mph winds, rain and half dollar size hail in about ten minutes. I am praying that we are spared.
Sara, I know your uneasiness, or fear of tornados. Be safe.
Lucky the border collie is in the utility room.

Marilyn hope the bad stuff missed you. It did me. Alert was from 4p.m to 11p.m. and the thunderstorm didn't hit Paris until right at 11. We got rain but no high winds - thank the Lord for that.

I am so happy that none of us had storms. The cloud went south of us. We got some blessing rain and a bit of tiny hail, that was all. The winds were no stronger than what we had been having for four days.

We were all blessed. The storm did bring cooler weather. Been in my fuzzy robe all day which is one of my favorite things to do. On my third chapter of cozy mystery so this week is starting off to a good start. Thanking the Lord for good days.

Just cloudy, rainy kind of warm weather here. Thankful there aren't any storms for now. I don't mind this kind of weather. Better than freezing or roasting lol.....

Glad everyone is safe from storms!

Today, it is cloudy foggy and damp today! Our snow is slowly melting! Sigh!

We hit 87 degrees here today! It is a big change from the weather we had in Spain and Portugal where it stayed in the low 60s or upper 50s everyday. It is also very dry here with little or no rain the past two weeks either. I have a feeling that summer is coming early this year.

Well I hope you all got or are getting much needed rain...but very little or no damage when the storms moved through.T seems to have gathered steam as it moved past us.

Rain all day today. No storms though. Grass is getting green. Flowers are blossoming. Leaves are beginning to appear.

6:00am hail storm! What a noisy wake up call( I was sitting in the living room, trying to be fully awake, WELL THAT DID IT!!!). It was not on the radar or even predicted!!! A few minutes later the tv weatherman said nickel size hail was possible...try quarter size!

WOW! It hasn't gotten here, yet. I like the rain - we need it. But not hail! And quarter size large.

Welcome mud season spring! I love all the seasons. My lovely backyard!

I just put on my billy boots and go play in the water!

We had a gorgeous day yesterday, it was in the 70F! I was actually able to do my usual power walk/run in workout Capri and a tshirt!

Hi everyone. We are having thunderstorms and rain. I love to watch them ,ever since I was a kid. I don't
know why.
Carole loved the snow pictures. Brings back a lot of good memories.
Who said dancing in the rain is bad. LOL!!!!!!!!
