To start off the fun, I am hosting an apple themed swap and I hope you will join in. This year, I am going to just leave the entire idea open to whatever you think would be fun. I know I am going to include a favorite apple recipe in mine because the apple is one of the most versatile fruits. Please keep swap to just a few items so that everybody will feel like they can join in. Sign-ups will be through September 9. Partners will be posted on September 10 and please try to have your mail out ready by September 18 so that your swap buddy will have time in September to enjoy whatever you send. Let's get our ideas flowing and join in to some good old fashioned Festival fun!! I've had that kind of tea before and it's delicious. I'm looking forward to trying the hot apple spice mix, it smells delicious. And I just love the card. It is up on my mantlepiece. We use coasters a lot so I was very happy to add them to the other set I use. I scan the magazine and it has some great recipes. Looking forward to making some this fall. The tea is very good and a favorite as well as the other goodies. I stashed those away for sharing later. I love the oven mitt and potholes. Goes great in my kitchen. Thanks again Ruth! The Jones Orchard has Relishes and Pancake syrups, all kinds of Jam's and Jellies and now they are adding the Pumpkin patch this week! They have Apples too! One of the ladies who works there said to Spoon that Apple Pie Jam on a Pillsbury Cresant rolls and bake, she said, they are Yummy!! There are 2 locations, Hwy 51, and one on Singleton parkway, near the Navy Base Entrance, that's the one I go too. Both are great! Can you tell me where you found the Carmel Apple Biscoti, It is so good!! My hubby drives all over the city for work and to olive Branch each week, so he said he could pick some up for me if you got it locally! It is yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I myself, got a bountiful box today from Kristi! You said, in your kind note that it is hard to find Apple things, it's all about pumpkins! that's true!! I do 95 % of my shopping online,so when it's cooler and I get out more I find things and save them like when I go to Hobby lobby. I get there about 3 times a year. I sew small things, so that helps me in my swaps too. I thought you did a great Apple Job! I love it all!! I'm in the process of decorating my dinning room table so the Apple Box of Fall things is wonderful!! Love the Apple stamps, Lily June is learning to stamp and she loves it!! I love the Magazine!!!That's my treat to myself, to sit in my chair and enjoy a book or magazine especially in this heat. I thank you so much! Heather gifted me a beautiful table runner that had belonged to her Grandmother and then added lots of fun cow things like a key ring, adorable eraser, Dark chocolate milk flavored lip balm, several milk recipes and some fun apple shaped post-it notes. I am going to enjoy using all of these lovely things!! The table runner is folded in half but you can see the design. So cute! Heather, thank-you very much for your kindness!
