Posted - May 13 2019 : 09:01:30 AM I was very sad to hear on the radio this morning about Doris Day's passing at age 97. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. I loved her singing and her movies. She was truly a lady in every sense of the word and will be sorely missed.

She was also a savior of dogs, she would rescue strays and bring them home,, then she started the Doris Day Animal Rescue,, which has since joined/merged with another Rescue organization.... We will miss her.

Posted - May 13 2019 : 8:35:46 PM So sad! And even sadder that the on line news did not report. Too much other garbage that fills our feed. Thanks Dawn for letting me know. She was a Cincinnati girl, where I was born and raised. Her last name was Kappelhoff. A West Side German girl! Andy Williams was from Cincy too! Another great voice. Thanks again Dawn! I would not have known |

Posted - May 13 2019 : 1:26:48 PM RIP Doris Day! Truly a role model for my time! I also adore her. With no momma I paid attention when Dad liked an actress and she one of the classy ladies by his standards and so mine too!
