Hey everybody!
A friend of mine just asked if I want some kiefer grains to make my own water Kiefer or kumbacha. I'd love too but am totally lost in this area. If course I'll study a method but does anyone else make their own kiefer water or kumbacha and if so, is it very difficult or time consuming??
Thanks

Ahhh, Judith! Good to know. Yes, I'll just bring it and throw it in my bread recipes. That's a good idea plus I won't be wasting it. Thank you!!

I looked into making and drinking kombucha but found out it can raise blood sugar levels and can interact unfavorably with cholesterol lowering medicines. I decided that yogurt was a better choice for probiotics for me.
I would grind the kiefer and add it to bread recipes.
