Hello, ladies. I am sorry to post back so late-we were family camping. It was a perfect way to spend Mother's Day weekend.
june 22 sounds fine to me. I brought yo-yos with me to work on while camping. This will be a great swap! Thanks.

WOW! that went fast....mine are done.....it's amazing how many you can sew while sitting in the doctors office.....
I may have to cut lots more circles & put them in a zip lock baggie along w/needle & spool of thread & leave them in the car to have when I am stuck at where ever (DMV etc.)....it beats staring at the clock...... in fact I am thinking about making christmas trees with them....I can put a piece of double felt in the bottom (largest) yo-yo and dab a bit of perfume or cinnamon oil on the felt to be a little more festive....oh goodie,,,,
Hey MaryJane Lee....how can we create little "yo-yo canned hams"??????

I have 11 more to go and I am done to! Hey Grace, wouldn't little yo-yo's look cute on the bottom of our curtains for our little trailers!? I made 2 cute pillows for the Giddy Up...have you seen that PINK cowgirl (faces) and the PINK horse fabric? I made a really fancy ruffle for both of them. Now I am going to do curtains in the PINK cowgirl print. Yo-Yo's would be cute here and there! Canned Ham yo-yo's! Hummm...bet you can think one up Grace! Making these yo-yo's has been very relaxing!!! Can't wait to get all the mix from all the other Farm Girls!!!! How fun! Now we will have to have patience for June 22 to roll around!

yep, still lurking here....lol!
I am thinking about making a yo-yo pillow for the "SCAMP" maybe even try my hand at making a
yo-yo comforter, I think I can use a twin sheet for the backing.
Oh, & I recently bought a pair of "Nick & Nora" lite weight cowgirl jammies.....for next years Giddy-up. My DH said he would get the trailer (axel,flooring,windows,new paint) done for me before the end of the year. yahoo! I am dying to get in there & decorate it.
Well, I am about to turn into a pumpkin, so I guess it's time to say tata-4-now.

We have a little over 150 made at our house so we are3/4 way for what we need for the swap as there are 4 of us participating ( me and my 3 kids)

Okay, I know I have way too much on my plate but I just cannot help myself....count me in!! A few years ago I was gifted a box with tons of yo-yo's in it. I added to the pile, added to the pile and then..you guessed it, donated it! I just could not look at another yo-yo again! What was I thinking!! So, you all have inspired me! However, so that these yo-yo's do not suffer the same fate as the others, what do you all do with all these lovely little yo-yo's? (by the way, anyone purchased a large box of yo-yo's in NY in the last year?)LOL Angie.

Sunshine, thanks for the flikr link! Too funny, I keep my yo-yo's in glass crocks too!
I have been stocking up like crazy on shirts and blouses at the local thrift to repurpose as yo-yos, clothes are half off on Wednesdays & this thrift carries the "good stuff." I bet that polo pony never expected to find itself galloping across a yo-yo! Ha.
So many ideas! I'm going to make a yo-yo belt by tacking them on an LL Bean ribbon belt, and also around the hem of a bedskirt. Girls, what do you have planned?
We are at 15. If anyone wants to double up just post here.

better hurry, before I get tempted & start a craft project with these little yo-yos....oops, to late, I snagged them, had to come up with a gift for a co-worker,, so, guess I will have to make some more, not a prob, I'll start cutting circles tonight & maybe even sew a hand full as well. BUt they will be done by Thursday, trust me.
Aauugghh! Attack of the killer yo-yo's... LOL!
