Hey farm sisters,
I was yacking w/Ellyanne the other day and she had expressed how much she enjoyed & appreciated all the "bits of new bride wisdom" from all of you.
She has been so very busy on her latest book/publisher/photographers etc., that she has not had much time to come play with us. 
She'll probably give me the "snake eye" for saying this, buttt she has fogotten where she stashed her super mega secrete password to get onto the MJF forum. , but soon as she finds it she'll join back in on the fun.
She does peek in from time to time & enjoys the aprons & sisterhood that we share.
From the tidbits that she has shared w/me, her next book is going to be awesome!. It's going to have some more wonderful stuff in it, which has me thinking about camping out in front of my favorite book store so that I can be the 1st one in line to buy a copy  ...I am so looking forward to it that's for sure!
Ok, I am off to the quilt store (me) & then w/my DH to the lumbar yard.

I can bring my "Twinkie #472" & we can camp out in front of the
bookstore swapping 'fish stories'. hee he hee!
 
#472 is sad it did not get to go to Kern.

Oh YES Grace, Yo Yo's are cut and ready to sew at the campfire in Kern! Wouldn't leave without them! Maybe I can teach Maurrie a trick or two!!! I had two different doctor appointments today, and what did I do the whole time? Yo Yo's and everyone was asking and talking about them! Got lots done...thanks for the darling Yo Yo kit!!!

Hey MJ, my top secrete project is underway,,,,,and I am going to have to resort to using a thimble to finish up my yoyos....100 yoyos in 3 days, ouch!!!!

Oh My Girl! You have lots of yo yo's to make! I am so excited your project is on and I know you will do a wonderful job. Your work is so pretty and you will start a trend when you are done!!! I will pay you tons of money for one! heeeheee! Wish you were going to Kern also. You will be there in spirit and you can call my cell if you want to talk! You will be missed. My trialer is all packed. Will go shopping in the morning for food. Oh! Talking about yo yo's...I sewed my Sister on the Fly patches on a nicely worn Levi jacket and added mini yo yo's to four pockets on the front. Put them along the trim of each pocket. It turned out soooooo darling! I used different fabric on each pocket. I will take the you yo kit you made me to sew more mini yo yo's. I want to add a row of them to the back of the jacket. Where are you going to sew your patches? I will have Lynn #38 take a picture of me in front of my trailer with the apron you made me for my Trailer patch! Will be thinking of you sweet Sister Grace #472!

hummm, I have to come up w/a really clever way to display my 3 SOTF badges/patches....I luv the yoyo on a denim vest idea,,,
I am still planing on making/adorning slippers w/yoyos after all these other projects are done!
Have tons of fun @ Kern. I look forward to seeing the pic's.
