A truly rich chocolate cake doesn't need much accompaniment .. a sprinkling of confectioners' sugar or a drizzle of hot fudge will do. But many bakers depend on frosting to hide remnants of the 'white flour' used to coat the pan. Avoid this problem by dusting the pan with cocoa poweder. it does the same job with invisible results.

I've used that trick for years! Mostly because I love to add more chocolate!
