I think like last time I will pair people up and then they can write to each other and tell each other what size they would like. that seemed to work pretty good. I will let the sign up go to sept. 1st and then that will give us a month to make the doll. what does that sound like?

I was thinking of something along these lines. I don't sew much here lately as I'd like, but I am crocheting. (If that would be okay :) )

I have to say now that I take a 2nd look at the pic I posted of the extremely PRIMITIVE doll that it's ugly so it's not what I'd prefer...it just has some cute ideas for the clothes. I do know some farmgirls love the primitive, even the extreme ones. !!

Has anyone seen a pattern for a crow? Would you just make a big bird that is all black with orange or yellow beak? In case I decide to make one I may need a pattern. Some corn in his hand would also be cute.

I've got mine started...actually mostly done, and he's primitive but just enough to look like traditional scarecrow. It was easy to make because the clothes aren't supposed to fit well and the seams are torn, things like that. I like him. Becaue I'm on a roll I could add some corn and maybe more details. I like the crows too.
