Linda,
I didn't make it to the post office yesterday. Busy, busy, busy at work.
I am sending it via FedEx. It actually costs less with the company account then sending it 1st class USPS.
It going ground but I think you will receive it tomorrow.

OMG Jessie, your doll arrived and it is just WONDERFUL!!! It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I absolutely LOVE it. I can't say enough about it. I sat it so everyone coming in the house can see it first thing. I had already sent mine out and then yours came so you should be getting it in a day or so too. Yours is soooo much cuter than mine but I hope you like it. I kinda tried to make a maryjane scarecrow. I messed up the checks so then she got patch cheeks. I hope you like it but oh yours is much better. I got the better end of this deal!!! Oh thank you so much!!! It is wonderful If you ever need any yarn let me know. people are always giving me some and I can always get you some. let me know. Bev

I'm so glad you like your scarecrow dolly. I was so worried you might not because he sort of plain with just the patches, but I was hoping you would anyway. I can hardly wait to get yours!! This swap was so much fun!

We so should do another one for a Christmas type dollie...lol ;)
Hope you all are enjoying your swappings! Happy Wednesday!

Linda, I am so glad you like your new doll. I had a lot of fun making her and dressing her.
My husband and I were in your neck of the woods today. We took a mini vacation for our 5th annv. up to Mt. Airy Poconos on Wednesday night. Then today, before we came home, we went to Steam Town. My husband loves his trains. We had breakfast at a small cafe. I believe it was called Mama's Kitchen. I always forget that PA does not have Tylor Ham (pork-roll). Thats a Jersey think.

I still want to do a Christmas dolly swap. I think we would have enough people who wanted to join in one with the Christmas theme...whatever way ya want to make it...Santa, Mrs. Santa, elves, or any kind of Christmas theme dolly.

Yes, a dolly dressed up for Christmas would be good! There are so many nice fabrics that would make great little dresses for a dolly. She could have mistletoe in her hair, or holding a wrapped present, things like that are festive.
I have been wanting to make a Mrs. Santa Clause. She wears a long velvet dress and white bloomers. I made one with plastic canvas one time and loved it.
