I hear ya, Maria, somedays... I am weary from lack of a good night sleep, due to the brace on my arm. And I have to wear the sling at niught too. Ugh! So, as for the jog, I'll walk with Maria, and we'll met you back at the porch for goodies!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Shortbread sounds really good to me as well! I am listening to Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and it makes me want a good Scottish shortbread. :D

It is snowing here and looks so pretty. I'm glad not to have to go off the hill. Perhaps I'll take my camera and walk towards you taking pics. I'll bring a pot of oatmeal to share with our morning coffee.

I don't know about jogging in the cold, but I will probably have to go to Wal-Mart today. I get my exercise there! I wish I could enjoy snow from my porch! We froze again last night. I am enjoying my few minutes on the porch!!! I'll take some oatmeal and coffee!

It's all good!

Yummm oatmeal! A litle butter, brown sugar, raisins and milk for me. One of my Fav breakfasts. I am baking some apple muffins right now, I will bring them over. Tea pot is on. Anyone for a spot of tea? I just love jasmine green tea. A long distance dear friend is coming to visit this morning. We will share a cup then I will come join you ladies. Sun is out after the rain. Everything is clean and fresh. Wow what a good morning!

Drizzly day here, but the woodstove is got the house nice and warm.
I would love a spot of tea, Marla! If there is an apple muffin left, I wouldn't mind one with my tea.

Can you see the moon from the porch tonight? At my place it is all clouded over. I've made some mulled sweet cider, you are welcome to a mug full to warm your hands and your tummy. I love chatting with you as we sit together.

No moon for me either, drizzly and cold here, so... I'd love to have a mug of cider. Anyone have a good book handy, to read out loud to us? I sure miss doing that with my girls.

I hope this is ok, since it is all virtual. I've made some hot spiced wine and have a batch of oatmeal spice cookies too...raining here and cold, so any one that wants is welcome...didn't think of the cider! yum!

Just got home and am glad to be here, it is just raw out! I say we move in by the fire and listen to Jennifer and the cello! =)

Plans for the weekend ladies?

Hi farmgirls. Cheryl, I agree, bring on the Spring. Here in SW Louisiana it is rain, rain, rain, and cold weather. I have had enough of that! I could just skip Spring and go into the hot sweating summer. Annika, those oatmeal cookies are just what I needed. Thanks.

I am longing for spring too. We are to get a few inches of snow again and freezing temps. Spring can't get here soon enough. I will have oatmeal cookies and a cup of tea.

I'm not quite ready for Spring yet, I need more relaxing time (which means I only work around here 6 or so steady hrs a day, instead of 12,lol). I need more porch time also, I want to get some more reading done before the insanity starts, cause then there's no slowing down til winter again. Someone pass me a cookie or two, please.

Oh ladies! Yesterday I turned the heater off and opened up the windows all day- it was wonderful! Chilly but clean air gusted through the house! I cuddled up with a big blanket on the couch when I wanted a down moment.

I sure am glad to kick back on the porch though- maybe I will cuddle up in this down blanket and crack the window open over here. I love this time of year- I start getting so READY for spring- I am starting to dream of digging! LOL

We still have our wood stove burning and it is raining cats and dogs. I love sitting on my porch in the cold and just watching the weather.Sitting here on the porch I see my bulbs coming up and a few are blooming . I have beautiful primroses on my porch table preparing me for spring. Have a great weekend

I made a pot of blueberry flavored coffee this morning, also a pot of chamomile/mango tea. Yes, it is a morning to cuddle under a comforter here on the porch. So let's enjoy a cuppa and chat for a few minutes before we start our busy Saturday.

Last night I did enjoy the music and a little of the spiced wine---what a good combination.

I would love a glass of wine. I like in a dry county so we won't tell anyone. Virtual is good. The blueberry coffee sounds good too. I have never heard of cream cheese choc chip cookies! Very cool. We still have snow and my porch is to cold. For now I am going to enjoy my virtual porch!

It's all good!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! I just made some heart shaped pancakes, and have some strawberry sauce to go with them. Enjoy!

We are at 23F this morning and hope to go to 32. Company is coming later, so will be cooking here in a little while.

Does anyone have some romantic music to enjoy while we chat this morning?

Virtual it needs to be here in Michigan...but I would be happy to toss a log in the woodstove and supply the hot water out of the kettle on top of the stove if anyone has a special tea blend to share while the stew is simmering.Woodstove cooking is so calming.
