Hi ... seems we have all been busy.. here's the thing..I am planning a trip to Canada for July to see my son who I miss desperately. If you gals want to get together ... go for it... By the way, anyone can start a Farmgirl chapter.. maybe starting one in your own hometown is the solution to what I was trying to do, which just isn't working out .. originally the chapter I started up was for the Lebanon area... but anyone is welcome. There are many chapters in Kentucky and if you do a search there may be one closer to home. I think when I get back I am going to organize a Potluck Picnic at my home in Lebanon, I will post the day and time etc.. and anyone that is interested can join in.. Until then have a happy farmgirl kinda summer!
Safe travels to Canada Shirley, I know what it is like to have a child live so far away....my second born lives in LA. I am still interested in trying to get a group together; living in E town I am used to driving an hour to get just about anywhere. How about the rest of you ladies? Is it too late? Perhaps the summer weekend have already filled....

I'm game for a meet. It could be small and short. Like I said before, I don't mind driving. But, I also don't mind hosting. I don't have much to look at here in the city, but if it means getting to meet some of you then I will spiffy up the yard and get some goodies made!
I (you can too) will look at some places we could meet up for our first gathernin..throw out some places at ya'll and will pick a date.. then we can make plans to visit each other. Does that sound okay??
