Happy to see you're still creating CJ. Beautiful items! Isn't it fun making banners. I made three over the summer ... one long one for my hubby's 80th birthday party, hung it outside the house and one for the taco bar inside.

I received one of those cute oven handle towels and have never used it because it is white and my hands aren't usually clean enough to remove the crud. However, I think that sewing the bottom and sides of the towel would turn them into a clever clothespin bag. Just a thought.

Sherone, those towels are adorable! So cute!

I just finished these:

I hand crocheted the granny rounds that I glued into recycled bottle caps. They are made into magnets, which decorate the jars of homemade taco mix, which are in recycled baby food jars. They are Christmas gifts this year. I am also making magnets for sale in our store too.

Sherone, I saved your Etsy store in my favorites, Will these towels be available there? We do have such talented Farm girls! I save all farm Girls Etsy shops and email Farm girls to buy their art. I just bought some Sheep from Brenda Wheeler-Lavender Rose that are to die for! Farm Girls work should be for sale at Macy's instead of the JUNK they stock! I sew and do Atc's, I am learning to crochet. I am so Inspired by all of you, to learn more!! I am working on Mail Art for November. Hugs!

Need to finish cutting fabric for this Prairie Hill quilt. It will be so easy to put together. It's a lap quilt. Making it for hubby to cuddle with when he watches TV. Making a Christmas version too.

This is what happens when I try to get back in to crocheting! LOL! I am repairing some tiny tears in this bedspread my Great Aunt Mattie crocheted in the late 1940's. I just inherited it from my mom. My Great Aunt Mattie taught me to crochet in the 1970's, just a basic single and double Crochet, but working full time and raising a family, I didn't practice for years. My mom said she remembers her crocheting on this when she graduated high school in 1950!

Wow! Looks like the stitchers and crafters are in full swing! Your projects all look so beautiful! Connie, that kitty pic is so cute! Love that bedspread. I would love to get back to crocheting with the fine threads. Can't believe I haven't used it since I was 20. Sylvia, I think the toughest part of quilting is cutting the pieces. Your quilt pattern is sure one I would like. I just finished crocheting a blanket for a second g-grand daughter. I'm glad it's finished so I can go back to quilting. Here are a few pics from Sept and Oct at our house.Me with my namesake. Baby Marco was born 8 weeks early and is now at home. I'me working on a quilt for him now. The wedding pic is my daughter with my grand daughter. This fibro lady is ready for a rest.

Connie,

My hands are just itching to work on preserving and repairing that bedspread. I have done this before and I love it.

My cat liked to play with my yarn and I didn't mind except she would chew it and break it. I miss her.

Judith, Precious Pictures! Beautiful Family! I have your picture from the Farm Girl Picture swap from last year! I was sick and couldn't sign up and you sent me a picture, (your sitting in a beautiful wooden rocker, you need to go sit and have a rest!) and a Beautiful white hankie, which I still have! I would love to get better crocheting with the fine thread. I am lucky to have a few dresser scarves that she crocheted. I spent a lot of time at her house when I was a little girl and she was always crocheting!

Marie, I know you miss your Cat Baby, I love mine and have had to say goodbye to several over the last 30 years. They are such a joy to me! I can see your passion for preserving, comes straight from the heart! I love restoration too! I have to try, even when people say, no way to fix that, it is hopeless, sometimes I succeed and sometimes I make a pillow ! LOL!! Lucky for me, I have some of the original thread. and it has no stains anywhere, It was in a cedar chest, when she passed away in 1997. I got a box of Great Aunt Mattie's sewing things and her old singer, which is a treasure to me! The women in my family never threw away anything!! I am taking my time, It has about 6 holes, the biggest one being the size of a dime. It is a full size spread. I have it draped over my piano, while I work on it, to keep it flat and smooth.

I will post a better picture when I am done.
