Grace, and five months aren't what they used to be - they get past me faster & faster each year.

Today I hope to make a pattern using my tea cozy. Then to decide what fabric to use and pin the pattern. I really like the tea cozy because it fits my teapot, is reversible, and easy to use.

Grace, wow you are productive! I will take the tree down on New years day. I like having it up this week, work really sucks this week. Gonna have some homemade baileys a friend gave me, look at my pretty tree and color in my coloring book I received for christmas.. It is very relaxing.

My tree will be staying up until January 17th.... the 16th is my 6 yo's 7th birthday, and she has asked that it stays up for her birthday.

That's neat, Shannon. As a kid, we always had the tree up until New Year's Day. But now, I want to get the house back to normal sooner. I'm sure if I had kids in the house, it would be up until New Years at least. LOL!

When I get bored... I get antsy... so I started cleaning... and before I knew it... everything was packed up... lol!
Maybe I should have talked Denise out of some of her Bailey's... then I would not have been so antsy... lol!

LOL! Guess I haven't been bored enough to get that much done. At least I went out and brought in the large storage bins. So I can fill them up and take them out again - hopefully tomorrow.

The insurance adjuster is coming tomorrow morning, so I'm hoping to get everything put away before he gets here at 11. LOL!

(I would rather of used the red one,,, my kitchen is predominantly red w/touches of yellow and turquoise).

Grace,
You are so funny! I have plenty of baileys left... I'm a cheap date I only have a small amount at a time. You are welcome to come to MN in the cold to have some if you would like! I'm trying to get the rest of the Christmas stuff put away. Then my nephew will need to come and put it up on the shelf in the garage.
Working on cutting fabric for a quilt, i bought the kit a year ago so I think it has aged enough in the bag!

Any time Grace!! I think the aging of the quilt fabric is very helpful! Plus if you forget that you bought it, its like opening a present!!

My dear mother-in-law hand stitched each of these hexagons together in the Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern. The least I can do is to finish it. Goodness knows how big it is - I may need to shorten it.

This is our little camper that needs some glam. We have a new table installed so when the weather is dry I'll sand & paint it, then sandwich a highway map between it and a clear plastic cover. The cushions are nasty itchy orange and brown plaid, so they'll get updated too. I'm even thinking of replacing the carpet and adding decorations on the ceiling. Then we'll send the old canvas to a company that will take it apart and make a new one for us. We plan to ride our motorcycle with the camper summer of 2017.

These are the new flowers I've planted in my garden. They are plates, bowls, saucers & little glasses from Goodwill, yard sales, and thrift shops. They are held together with E6000 glue.

I let them sit a whole week so they won't fall apart. If any Farmgirl Sister visited me with some extra plates, it's a good chance she'd go home with one of these.

Do you use a piece of copper tubing as a stand and a one-end-flattened connector glued to the plate to stand them up?

I've seen them at craft fairs and got 1 for my garden. When I clean it out in a few months I will put it in along with some solar butterflies I got. The ones from old glassware are beautiful.

That Henie quilt will be gorgeous when you get it quilted. I quilted one my husbands grandmother made. Turned out great!

So far I've glued a square Dollar Store salt shaker on the back and mounted them on rear or PVC pipes. I may make fancy stems later.

Thanks, Vanessa. That's an interesting mount.

My plans for today include making 6 scrappy Arrow Blocks for a swap in my Guild, putting binding on at least 2 quilts (I hope), and finishing a dish drainer quilt and microwave bowl potholder set.
