CJ - your picture turned out fabulous! I have not done any quilling yet, but my 12 year old loves it! I will most definitely show her the picture you perfected! I think I would like to try my hand at quilling some ornaments. Perhaps this upcoming year...

Wow CJ, this is beautiful! I have done a little quilling in the past and I will attest that it is very time consuming, but so worth the effort if you like handwork. I think you should make more and then join Mail Art!

WOW! You've been a busy gal! Love the Star Wars characters. Did you paint them?

Shannon my son was four when we first saw Star Wars. I can proudly say I can still recognize and name them. All the gifts are fantastic.

My quilt stash has been building. I'm running out of space to store them. I am thinking of selling some in 2016. Here is one I finished this year and am thinking of giving to Ed's granddaughter for Christmas. I know she likes bright colors, but she likes dogs, and this is cats. I've asked her Dad if she also likes cats. I hope so! LOL!

The cats in the squares are preprinted, but the rest of this quilt is pieced from about 6 different fabrics.

Sara,
There are some badges I'll have to skip too, as they aren't in my skill set! One of them is crochet . . . boy, I tried to learn but I can't seem to get the hang of it! Don't know if that is in my future at all!

P.S. This one took about nine hours, but over two days. Have to wait for things to dry in stages.

Shannon -

You could easily tie that quilt in the corners of the square design. That would be quicker than machine quilting. If you machine quilt just pin well and stitch around the squares. That would also go pretty quickly.

There are a lot of Merit Badges I could/can do, but some of them I have to go backwards on because I have been knitting, crocheting, and quilting for years. I am trying to work on "teaching" someone those skills because Brian said that would qualify me.

Linda,
Same for me . . . such as music, sewing, gardening, canning, etc.
But I was able to make it through those.

Oh, yeah - definitely music and sewing. I want to learn canning and some others. I have a BS in Music Education, so that would be way backward. And I've taught violin. LOL!

Oh good golly... I should be in my sewing/craft room: cleaning... organizing and purging... but Noooo!
I go digging through my fabric stash and spend 1/2 the day cutting and sewing 7 more magnetic quilted photo frames....
Scheeze... will I ever get organized? Lol!
On the plus side... all the left overs have been eaten and the Christmas deco has been taken down and put away...
OK 2016... bring it on!

I have a yard of chicken fabric for a new Jubilee apron, to hang on my front porch. I hope to pin the pattern on today. Not a good day for me to use scissors so the cutting will just have to wait. By starting today I should have it done by Jubilee in May.
