Marie, that bookmark is going to b beautiful! Life gets the best of us and I'm pretty sure she understands!

Thank you, Grace.

Over the weekend my mom and I went to the store to finish collecting the things we need to finish our Christmas wood blocks. I'm hoping to get started on them today. Hopefully this week I can check 2 things off my UFO list.

I am back to being able to sew and craft!! I am starting back with an overhaul of my sewing and craft room! I found several UFO's in the midst of this organization! Something I started before summer and then life got in the way. My new toy also arrived! I am the happy owner of an embroidery machine!! I am still working on a name for her! I have always wanted one and now I am learning! I have missed all my Farmgirl chatter and I am glad to be back!!

I finally got around to spraying my wood blocks yesterday and plan on gluing them together today and then tying my ribbons tomorrow. It will be so nice to have a couple more things done just in time for Christmas decorating. Then I will be starting on a couple of blankets! In the middle of all this I have been very slowly going through my craft room. I need to make some room so I can work in there!

Hay there.

Mz Krista, I, too, have been working on my studio. So much stuff in there that its hard to focus when I go in. That makes it difficult to get anything accomplished. I rescued 3 kittens last year ((what was I thinking!!!)) And they think they own every inch of this house, including the studio. I closed the door to keep them out but didn't like to see the door shut.....not very inspiring. So, I purchased a few screen doors and have them hung on rooms that I want the cats to stay out of. It has worked like a charm and the air gets to circulate. I'm the only one that goes into that part of my home so its not unsightly for visitors. Time to go in there and clear off a few surfaces where items have just been dropped off.

What am I working on now......a latch hook rug that is maybe 10 years in the making....a cross stitch gift for my son.....a hexie I spy for my granddaughter (a memorial).....and just this past weekend added knitting dish clothes to the list. I really need to just quite work and live in my studio. ***wish I could!*

Hope everyone has a blessed Saturday. Going out to work on the ranch then home to pick one of those items up and work on it. TaTa!!!

Hugs, Daizy

Daisy, I too will be starting some dishcloths. I decided that I would gift crochet dishcloths and some cookies to my neighbors this year for Christmas. I just need to go in that crazy room and dig out my cotton yarn.

I did finish 2 projects over the weekend and have started working on some crochet for one of my swaps. I'm excited to get it done and to send it to my seal partner. Then I will begin on my blankets.

I am working on the crochet Christmas stocking for my Stocking Swap partner. I found a really cute owl ornament for the swap also.

I am making Christmas stockings to sell at the little shop I have a few things in. Maybe I will post some in the Marketplace, too. They are patchwork, denim, fancy, and flannel.

Linda, those stocking sound really cute! I bet they will sell quickly in the little shop.

I keep bouncing around with all my projects right now. I can't seem to decide what I want to work on first, so I have been starting them all. Last night I started my first corner to corner crochet. I plan on turning it into a Christmas pillow. So far I really enjoy corner to corner! Just a bit time consuming reading the graph.

Diana, those are adorable! What are they made from? How are they standing?

I couldn't seem to put my corner to corner down over the weekend. I'm still pretty slow but I really am enjoying watching my picture come to life! I am almost half way through. I also completed a tie blanket for my oldest over the weekend. I plan to make one for each of us for Christmas! I'm on a roll so far.

Bird seed makes them stay up and then a little stuffing on top. Felt but any thing would work.

Here is my corner to corner so far. My yarn is a bit of a mess, but I'll get it untangled before I start again. My goal is to make it to the half way point this week.

Nice Ruthie Ann. Is it for Christmas?

My husband is out of town for the week, so I will be working on his blanket since he won't be here to see it!
