Between yesterday evening and this evening I managed to crochet the tops of dish towels and crochet a pot holder... hopefully I will get a matching dish cloth finished too... just a couple more rows left to do.

sorry the photo isn't true to color,,, the verigated yarn matched the colors in the towels perfectly.

You are a very busy woman Grace! I love the idea of a matching set!

I am half way done with my husband's blanket. I should finish it tonight. We have some pretty gloomy weather right now, so all I want to do is cuddle up under a blanket and crochet. I guess that's a good thing considering I have so much to get done! Lol

Hay there.

Yesterday, I went to my quilting group for the first time in a very long time. We meet every Tuesday and I have really been missing all those creative ladies. I made my self a promise to not miss any more for this year and to be much more active in 2019. I took a latch hook rug to piddle with and a fabric swap that needed to be finished and mailed out. On the way home I put it in the mail.....SCORE!!!! I feel so much better when I go to my group....makes me more enthusiastic about my projects.

Hugs,
.

Daizy, I wish I had a group like that. Having other to work with and chat while you work sounds like so much fun. Like Grace, I should try and get a group together.

Grace, I seen your other pictures. Your grandson is such a cutie! Great job.

I finished the front of my corner to corner pillow. Just need to sew in ends. I am super excited for this project!

Thanks Grace! I can't wait to see it all the way done. I still haven't sewn in my ends yet. I really dislike that part of crocheting, so there it sits. I have a ton of projects on my plate for Christmas and I'm starting to freak out now that is December. I really need to get my act together.

Theresa, that is the cutest way to wrap presents! I just love it. Your grandson is just going to love that. Great idea.

I have joined a weekly knitters group.
I can't knit that well but the fun is to much to miss.
The group meets at a local fabric store. You might find something up there.
My knitting is getting better.

The quilt club I belong to issued a Christmas project challenge: make a stocking, mitten, etc. I made a garland. Is has crazy quilting with embroidery and sequins on one side & the other side is cream with gold and green sequins. Unfortunately because I began a new job I'm not able to go to the meetings.

Vanessa, I like your reversible garland. I never would have thought of something like that. I like the colorful side. It's so fun.

Diana, these knitting and crocheting groups sound like so much fun. I would love to join one.

I completed this crochet crown ear warmer. The pattern didn't call for any gems but they were just to stinking cute to pass up on. Now I plan to make one in pink!

Thank you ladies! I think she's pretty darn cute too!
I agree Marie. I love being able to add my own touch on my projects. Makes them unique.
Over the weekend I finished the back side to the bear pillow. Now I need to get a pillow and sew my sides together. I also finished 2 hot pad sets. My poor house looks like all I have done is crocheted lol!

Well since it snowed all day,, so I played in my sewing room...
TaDa!

not a great photo, but from 3 shrunken cashmere sweaters, I made a Beani, a head band, a pair of fingerless gloves, 1 black scarf and 2 grey scarves...
Tomorrow I will start packing up stuff for hubby and my trip back to California.

Grace, that's so awesome! The headband is really cool looking. It looks like a bow!

I focused so much of my day yesterday on finishing my corner to corner pillow and I'm very happy to say I finally finished it! One more Christmas present finished and ready to be wrapped. I should be finishing 2 more today. My goal is to have them all done by the 18th, that way I have a week of no stress before Christmas.
