Okay so this was my first ever attempt and I totally messed parts of it up, but I completed this cross stitch on Sunday. It only took 7 hours haha! I actually really loved making it, and want to continue with the skill to get better.

Today I am working taking the rest of the left over jelly roll and making a table runner for my boss for her birthday. Another lover of black and white.

Way to go Ruthie. You sure are staying busy.

I am just working on some more Easter bunnies and another Easter bunny pillow for my mom for Easter. Been moving a little slow on my crafts this week. I have been busy getting other things ready for my little girls first birthday. It's amazing how fast April has already gone.

Grace, Everleigh will be 1 on Thursday! Your telling me. I am not ready for her to be one. I want her to stay my little baby forever, but she is bound and determined to grow up fast. She has actually been walking since 9 months and I have just cried wishing she would slow down.

Darlene, my mom said the same thing. She plans to keep hers out all year round.

I have actually had to put them on hold, because I received a custom order for newborn photo props for my cousin. The pictures are on Saturday, so they need to be done before then.

Krista, oh they do grow up fast... my baby is 1 plus 40... but still my baby.

Todays projects consist of machine embroidery and watching some quilting tutorials...

this will be for a friend of mine,,,

The pictures don't do it justice... I am going to frame the stitchery on top of the 2nd fabric .. and I will add some cute 'sewing' buttons in the space between Bev's name and the sewing machine.

I also am in the middle a deco pillow for our motorhome.

Now I have to run into town to buy a pillow form and a cute frame so I can finish up these projects.

Those look great, Grace. I would love to learn how to machine embroider sometime in the future. It always makes nice things.

I have found a whole bunch of orphan blocks in my stash. I'm intending on putting them to good use in making potholders.

I've become a bomb maker - bath bombs! The recipe for them is really easy, and the plastics eggs make cute molds. They will be nice tucks for my next swaps!

I have had the pleasure of making some newborn photo props. Yesterday I finished the deer and will be making the hunters hat today. I am so excited to see the cute pictures with my crochet work. Such a nice feeling.
