I plan to do some sewing and then continue on working on my craft room, spent the day yesterday going thru things and sorting them out. I did not realize I had that much STUFF in there.

Jill...be glad that you have a Craft ROOM to hold all that STUFF!
I'am jealous! My bedroom is my office, my craft room, TV Room, Library, Dogs room and my bedroom. And it is probably 10x12feet My hubby and I sleep in different bedrooms because of both of us having various health issues (which isn't our preference but a medical necessity) but truly I can't see squeezing him in here too. He's a big guy anyway! I keep all my crafting supplies on a bookshelf, in the TV Cabinet, in various totes, and in four plastic tubs stuffed under my
bed, in pull out drawers in the closet, and in a 10 drawer office supply storage unit next to my computer desk. It is Crazy...but I guess I can look at it this way...I have everything in it's place and it's less to clean than if I had an additional craft room!

GD's coming today and I came down with a terrible soar throat during the night. Hope it is just allergies from cleaning and nothing I can pass on to the girls. I am sipping on hot tea right now and think I will head back to bed for awhile more.

Blessings,
~peggy

Peggy, take it easy with your sore throat and grand daughters. I'm sure you will make lots of good memories for them. I did lots of crafts with my son when he was little. He still remembers and I still have his artwork around.

Garden is getting better but took a beating in June and is now just recovering in time for great thunder storms. Suzanne

Hi, we had some time off from stitching and gardening to spend with our two grandkids. I did give my daughter-in-law some dishclothes I'd made. She was thrilled.

Grandkids enjoyed the carousel here and a beautiful day. Grammie is worn out and Papa is too. Our little ones are three and almost two -- very busy. Suzanne

Evening, girls!
Today I worked on my scarf for the swap, as well as some beanie hats that I'm hoping to sell at a farmers market in September.
Tomorrow's agenda: more of the same and actually doing housework...ewwww lol

Not much here - some gardening, lots of hours at work, and more dishclothes. The dishclothes are very soothing to work on. Suzanne

Peggy, most of them lost their pit just as easily as a good peach. The rest underwent minor surgery. : )

I'm dreaming up new ideas as I crotchet dishclothes. I want to make a Raggedy Ann doll -- a sort of primitive one. And I'm going to knit my next set of dishclothes for the practice. The weekend is coming, so I hope to get some good sewing done. Of course, my husband is taking apart our laundry room, so I'll probably being putting tile down for the floor. Suzanne

Just finished a pair of tea towels and added them to my etsy shop. Give a look in sharnymcclarny shop. Not much profit in it, but I love embroidering. Now on to my next project????

Sharon...Gorgeous! And besides your beautiful needle work...I love how
you finished the bottoms of the towels with the pretty prints and ric-rack.

I just finished my August Mail-Art and a gift for my Secret Sister which I can't say what it is... because "MUMS" the Word!

I am making a gift for a Farmgirl Friend. Bought the materials I needed tonight and can't
wait to start on it. My problem is that I always have many projects going at once. So, I
also just finished my Mail-Art and A pkg for my Secret Sis. So, two down and a zillion to
go but...it is my Mental Health Therapy and it works so well!

Hugs & Blessings,
Peggy

Marion in the Netherlands, I forgot to say how cool it is to have you participate! My husband and I got to visit Amsterdam in 1985 and loved it. I certainly would like to return and see more of your beautiful country. I will also check out your blog. Dianne in the Hudson Valley, NY

Peggy, you must be feeling better. Good to see you here.

Sharon, the tea towels are lovely. I'm back embroidering after a long break. I enjoy it a great deal. I'm doing roosters.

I am thinking of doing the Rose Garden Scarf in Mary Jane's stitching room book. It will be a challenge -- first to find the specialized yarn and then to read the pattern. But fall and football season are coming. I get a lot of handwork done while watching football with my husband. Suzanne

Hi Suzanne ~ I have some cute old transfers of roosters. Just may join you in an embroidery challenge. I'll show you mine, if you show me yours! When will you work on the sunbonnet project? You sound like a typical crafter with so many irons in the fire. What do people do when they don't craft, I wonder????????

Sharon, I have a special doll to finish and a wall hanging for my son. But I'm thinking the bonnet would be cute for my granddaughter, so I'll have to figure that out soon. Yes, I love my crafts. They keep me sane. I work all week with people and enjoy the creativity and sanity of crafting.

I'll try to figure out how to get a picture of the rooster to you when I finish. My have to do email, as I havne't figured out how to post one here. Suzanne

Hi, I finished a doll's body today in between watering gardens. It's so much fun to see the dolls start to come into being. Suzanne
