thanks so much ladies, i am feeling so great and i really think getting back to my crafting has helped so much.
and also come back here. my cancer diagnosis was about 3 years ago, and i got so tired of it sometimes, i was just sick and tired of being sick and tired.
i finally feel that i am on the journey back to health.
i am so dingy, peg , but i thought you lived in texas.
also kim what part of texas are you in?

Hi Frannie, Glad you're feeling better. Creating things seems to help during recovery. I did a lot of cross stitch and hand stitching in general when I broke my leg several years ago.

I SO have to get some pictures posted! Last night I finished the hat I was making (the Mister is thrilled because he wants to take me out for Valentine's Day). The glue should be dry by the time I get home from work, and then I can photograph it.
A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee.... |

i am not really familiar with the ATC's but they are all wonderful and like litte pieces of art. they all seem to tell a story!

I just finished making my first Tea-Wallet! I am slowly getting the hang of my sewing machine. Going to make another apron either today or tomorrow.

Finished these two pillows today. The embroidered one is a cover that was actually made by our own Miss Wilma and was gifted to me by Laurie as a RAOK gift. I finished it into a pillow! LOVE IT! THANKS LAURIE!
The little one I finished with the hooked top I found at a thrift store for 25 cents! It was complete and took someone HOURS to do! I handwashed it, used some upholstery type piping and red wide wale corduroy, stuffed with polyfill and now I have this cute little accent pillow.
I think the two of them go together quite nicely!!
And, I think that when I go "glamping" they can go with me!!!
