I made the Mister a beaded eternity ring for Leap Day...it somehow seemed appropriate.
A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee.... |

Kathyrn,, would you be willing to share a copy of the pansys pattern. I would gladly pay for postage and copying. I have crocheted dishcloths and scrubbies, I would be willing to barter. This is so cute and would go in my guest bedroom.. Thanks, Linda Farmgirl #946 |

Hi Jennifer: I got the info on the farmtable. I also took many photos of the underneath side of the table so you can see how my hubby built it. Do you want me to email the pics to you or post them here.

Jennifer.your apron turned out beautiful! Joan ..the tables are awesome !! I love to pop in and visit and see what everyone has been working on...I dont always leave a comment but all the creativity inspires me I have been getting ready for a craft show Saturday and needed a very simple apron that even a child might be drawn to ..... something bright and colorful with my business name. The sewing machine chose to break this week ( of course )so my western appliqued one i wanted to make with horses was out...... But it turned out cute . Then i had to finish my hat . I gotta run to wal mart and pick up another sewing machine next week ..cant do without it !

Hi Jennifer: I wanted to email you but it wouldn't take my photos...so I hope you don't mind it here. Hubby said he made tapered legs then the apron. Mortise tenored into the legs. Corners 45 degrees cross member for strength. Then bolted into the corner of legs. I guess you can see what he's talking about in the photos.
We turned the table over to see underneath. If you have any questions, let me know.

Laundry, laundry and oh did I mention laundry!!!!!!! I am going to start cutting out the peices for the messenger bag I am going to make my mom for mothers day. I still need to get the zippers and the magnetic snap but with this crazy icy weather I am not leaving the house.

Kathryn, my grandmother used to get the piece very wet then plaster it onto the fridge door where it stuck easily because it was wet. She would let it dry there and most of the time that took out the wrinkles and creases. Sheri. Lovely work. I like working with wood myself.

Thank you for the ideas gals,I will try your ideas to get that crease out, that transfer is so old that I had to really go over it alot with the iron so it set that fold in pretty tight. Linda I would be happy to send you a copy of the transfer and then you could trace a transfer of it with an Aunt Martha transfer pencil or use whatever method works for you.The transfer is quite old and brittle so I will make you the best copy I can it is a really sweet design I'm making another one in burgundy and pinks. Message me your address and I will send it out right away.

Thank you bunches, Joan. I appreciate it!
Lisa, I love your hat. Did you make that for yourself or as a gift? I think it is a special treat, either way.
CJ, that book is just too cute. What a treasured gift that will be!

All you ladies are so talented!!!! I just finished knitting some mug cozies with crocheted flowers, hoping to get them on Etsy soon. Then I "practiced" spinning yarn. I cannot get the hang of it and got frustrated, so quit for today. Will try again next week. Hard when all I have is a book to go by. I had better learn, since I bought the spinning wheel, plus hundreds od dollars on roving, which I have crates full. I guess it will just take time to get it right.

Wow ladies, your flowers, doilies, clipboards, furniture, etc are beautiful and inspiring! I'm taking a break from crafting right now. Have lots of other things that need to be done around the house and I am also working on a community auction coming up later this month. Doesn't leave time for fun stuff but I can still daydream about it!
Cheers! ~ Marilyn

CJ you are so creative. Your Baby Book is so sweet and adorable. If I was a baby I would want that to be my baby book. Seriously, As a mother I would love to receive that as my child's Baby book.

Meeting my farmgirl friend for breakfast this morning along with our daughters. We like to have a mother/daughter day once a month. After breakfast we plan to do some serious thrift stores. Always a fun time when the four of us get together.
