Oh, Linda - I'm so sorry... I missed that, too. May God bless her and rest her soul, and may you find great comfort and strength in Him at this most difficult time. Much love - Nini

Linda, I too am so sorry for the loss of your Aunt. I love the way Claudia put it- for how true it is that when our loved ones go on to be with the Lord, they are at peace and we are left here to ache and miss them.
Blessings to you and your family during this difficult time.
Hugs,

"Friends Are Treasures! Hug One Today!" ~ Horace Bruns

What a Treasure It Is to have Christian Sisters on here to pray for each other, uplift each
other and to share one anothers burdens. Just like Jesus...when the Cross got too heavy and he
fell under the weight of it...The Father brought someone along side of him to lift the load and help carry the burden.

Love You All and Praying For You All. Even if it's cold and wet in your neck of the Woods...
His "Sonshine" is always there to warm us heart and soul.

Live Loved,

Good morning girls! Praying again today!!

Peggy,
I keep a Gratitude Journal. I started it when I was working on one for one of my earliest Merit Badges (about 2 years ago) and have kept it ever since. I focus on just ONE thing every day . . it is so helpful in keeping perspective!
I highly recommend it!
GODS BLESSING TO ALL!

Good morning all!
Darlene, prayers for health. Hope you are feeling better. Enjoy those gbabies. Such a treasure!
Kristina , loved the gratitude sharing
Peggy, on/off I have done the gratitude journal idea. Need to do it!

I was just talking with my gson yesterday that we all need to try and focus on more positive and less negative! Maybe a gratitude journal is just the thing!
Maybe I could pick up a few inexpensive spiral notebooks, easily alter the cover in their fav/fun things and give them to gkids for that purpose? One for myself too, lol!!

It is so easy for me to dwell on the negative and get all down and frustrated inside?!! As I told my gson? Just living in a country that gives us the freedoms we have is something to wake up and be thankful for,
each and every day!!! Negativity is something I struggle with..... Our family does.....prayerfully need to work harder on changing that with His help!

Thank you ladies for letting me share about my Great Aunt, and for all your sweet thoughts ! I am so thankful for farmgirl sisters!

Hope you all have a blessed Lord's Day!!!

Farmgirl hugs,
Linda

I agree with you all about gratitude and looking for the silver lining, the good that God promises in the midst of our situations. It uplifts us to concentrate on the good things happening. Looking at just the negative things, seem to spiral us down, and then hard to climb out. That said...I am bringing something that I ask you to pray about, and thanking God it has not touched our family.

Just across our state was the funeral of the 2 Powell boys in a large Tacoma church. But on my side of the state...Friday, a young man shot and killed a mother and her 2 boys...11 and 8. The 22 year old may have taken his own life hiding out somewhere, but he has not been found yet. The husband and father was hospitalized at the time with pancreatitis. When he got the word, he was discharged with help to get home to the loss of his family. I know they were church goers...not know where. Please pray for the family of those who were shot and of the shooter. It must be devastating. Also in our little town, the ex-husband of a woman was arrested last week for strangling his ex-wife in december. They have 5 children ages 10-20. What in the world is happening to our families? As we thank God for our blessings, please say a little prayer for those less fortunate than we.

Thank you so much!

I said a prayer for them all and I was seeing the death of Whitney Huston also and now they say her daughter is being hospitalized. Prayer is certainly going out for the families for all these poor hurting people.

Happy Valentine's Day, girls!!!

'Thought you might enjoy reading a little bit about St. Valentine today: http://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=159

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12

May His love and hope abound in your hearts today and always!
