My son lives in Santa Maria and it is pretty temperate there. They have been getting lots of rain though. Problem is, the drainage is very poor and so there are lots or lakes. It has turned cold at night in Washington and that's okay because the daffodils are coming up and that is a sure sign Spring is on its way.

This morning looking out my windows we have some blue sky with clouds!
I am all fo blue sky though no matter how little.

55 here in north central Texas with light rain, feels colder than 55. Starting tomorrow night we will be back in the 30s at night. Yesterday we had 70 with low of 50 so goes our Texas weather.

It's 79 here and I just turned on the A/C. I'm not ready to turn on the A/C but when you have to you just have to.

Spring is definitely on its way. I have buds on my daffodils. Will have to look for forsythia blossoms too.

About 3:45 today the sky grew dark, the wind picked up and it rained cats and dogs (there's a joke about a poodle here). Weather alerts went off on our phones and the scanner reported a tornado watch in the northern part of the county. Hail fell and it was a white out. Then the storm blew over and we got a beautiful sunny afternoon.

We had a rainy stormy day all day yesterday. The sun peeked out just before it was going down.
Last night was a bit worse. We had a bad storm with lots of wind and a tornado watch. Thankfully no warnings but there were two tornadoes that touched down north of us. One a little northwest and one a bit farther north. Grateful we had no damage here.

It got down to 32 last night or should I say early this morning. Hopefully it's the last I have to wrap my container plants on the deck. I brought the bay in, not taking any chances on losing this one.

Yesterday we had 10 and a half inches of snow. Then over night it has been rain all night. Still raining this morning and I am dreading going out to the barn. Babies do have a pen to go into with lots of straw.

We always need rain here in Southern California, but it is nice to have a weekend without any rain. My husband and I are retired, but our neighbors still work. It has been hard on them not being able to enjoy being outside on the weekends. It seems that everyone is outside today!

My county is under a tornado watch until 6 p.m. Rain should start soon so that's good but I can do without the tornado alerts.

Weather here has been up and down. Warm one day and cooler the next. However, I wish the wind would stop blowing. I do not like working in the yard when it's windy. However, it has been cloudy off and on too.
