I certainly hope we are getting the dose of rain that we are supposed to have in the Tri-City area. It has rained all day and those scuddy clouds have been hanging around too. Glad to have it because I don't have to shovel it.

44 now hi Thurs 71. No rain or snow in sight but we do have wind. Come to think of it we always have wind or at least a pleasant breeze.

We've been having roller coaster weather here in the Chicago area. From snow and bone chilling freezing temps to today's 51 and sunshine. They say 3 days of 50's and then we go to 40s. I am really hoping for snow and a white Christmas. Nature however will do as she pleases!

Tues a storm came thru. High winds brought down small branches and twigs. Today beautiful, so cleaned up out back and my husband cleaned out rain spouts.
Friday a milder storm forecasted. Then artic blast sets in for next week.
Soup will be on the menu several days starting Sat
Today's good mood brought to you by a lot of coffee!!!

Last night an alert phone call from Lamar Country woke me warning that we were under a tornedo alert until 4 a.m. No tornedo but thunderstorms around midnight. Starting tomorrow night we will be having single digit temps for several nights and low 20s during the day, so it goes here in Texas.

Miserable weather in the Tri-City area of Washington state. Woke up to single digits and it is now 11°F. Yesterday it was in the 40's. Glad to report that this will be the case for the next three or four days. I would imagine MaryJane's farm is suffering the same weather.

We've finally gotten so good snows here in the Chicago area. It is quite the winter wonderland now. Unfortunately though the winds are blowing and our -12 this morning feels like -30 thanks to them. I decided this morning would be a good time to read and sip coffee.

It’s sunny and bright here today! Yesterday the wind and rain were whipping wildly.
I really am enjoying it! I was able to walk to Church this morning.

Dawn, we are having the cold here also, but no snow BooHoo! I love the snow!
Whenever I feel like it is too cold, I check on the weather in Omyakon Russia, the coldest place on earth.
Looks like school will be closed tomorrow; it has to be -50.

53* in my town today. Not a warm day but not the rough weather others are feeling.
I checked temp in Yellowknife Canada -28 feels like -47 whoa

Lisa we have a sunny -8 this morning and the windchill makes it feel like -24. The snow is beautiful and hopefully the winds will quit so I can go hiking in it soon. I had a few deer in the backyard looking for acorns beneath the oaks we have out there. Enjoy your warm weather Tara and Darlene.

Brrrrrrr!! All of you who are in sub zero weather, keep up by the fireside and hopefully this drop of Arctic air will go back up North soon. These frigid temps are dangerous to people and animals everywhere it hits. Here in Florida it is high in the low 40s which is unusual for us . A big freeze hit rural areas last night but a bigger one is coming to us here in north central Florida come Friday and Saturday nights. By, By, all the Azaleas that decided it was time to bloom! I hate it when this happens and we lose all of the flowers that usually bloom in mid February. Florida weather has become quite unpredictable these past few years.

That is super crazy, Winnie. I would think going to Florida would be a nice warm vacation from here. Sounds like it's pretty chilly there.
We just got a bunch more snow last night. And we have some pretty tall snow piles around the driveway. They cancelled school today because the roads were so bad. That doesn't happen very often in Utah.

Expecting some rain here In So. California. . .It is also colder than normal here. But we are fortunate in that we have not dropped below 35 where we are. We live about 30 miles southeast of Los Angeles.

We have a high today of 39 and will be 21 tonight!! Coldest day yet this season, but at least the sun is shining.
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

We are at 54 degrees with rain and a flood watch. Here.
I am in a good spot but do have a friend who lives down by the ocean.
It’s brighter right now though. Maybe it will take a break!

It is still cold here in the Tri-Cities. We had freezing rain some time last night. Temp is now up to 37°F now. I certainly hope the snow is melting under the ice crust. Like winter, but glad when the spring time comes along.

It is cold where you are, Betty. I agree with you in that I like the winter, but am very happy when the spring comes. Sumer can get very hot here in So. California, but I love spring and fall!

It's almost 6 am.and rainy. There was a blinding flash of lightning and about 3 seconds later a cannon blast of thunder that rattled the windows. Now some of my nervous dogs are cuddled under my blanket for assurance and comfort. Thank goodness I don't have any great danes!
