"Mr. Teddy" is coming with me and my daughter, Robin, on a "Tent Glamping" trip in March. We're meeting on her spring break (she's a teacher in Phoenix) near her home because it'll be warm there at that time. Don't have a glamper but we have a tent, an EZ-Up canopy, ALL kinds of things to "girl glam" it up. I'll also be taking my doggie friend (she's a real, living, breathing dog) Bramble along!!!
Just found this set of suitcases at a local thrift for $5.00 for the set. They are in reasonably good condition.
YAY!!!!!

SCORE!!!! on the suitcases...
Hey CeeJay,,, have you seen the 'portable' doggie beds made from an old suitcase? depending on how big or little Bramble is... how cute to convert one of these cases into a 'portabed'... nice cush quilt/pillow to sleep on, and a great place to store Brambles leash, food dish etc in while traveling.. & by nite it's a bed...
A friend of mine who has a "skip-er-key'..(that is the phonetic pronounciation... cuz I can't spell it...lol! any ways, that's what she has & uses for her lil dog when traveling... perfect 'stow-n-go' travel bed for her dog.
Have fun Glamping... my 1st outting won't until May... down to Pendleton, OR... :>)

Yup I am I have a brother down there in Phoenix Trying to get a hold of him too and getting the whole thing to come together. I have my tentative map put together and I am really going to try. How much cooking would be going on? That is what I am really lacking in the camping arena.

'Twould be GRRRREEEEAAAATTTT!!!! We'll be cooking our meal the evening of the 17th, but Robin and I both will have camp stoves and paraphernalia for doing that. Basically, it's just bringing food to share for that meal . . potluck . . and whatever you want for breakfast on the 18th. . possibly lunch as well. I don't know, right off, what time we have to check out of the campground . . . but I will have a 7 hour drive home. So, you don't need to bring equipment for camping if that's your main concern.
