Mmmm...there's some yummy meals out there! We usually have pizza night on Saturday, but needed a quick lunch and had the pizza then. Tonight will be chicken stir fry for the meat eaters and veggie stir fry for myself.

Crab cakes, pasta, and steamed carrots; then I think we might split a berry tart for dessert (it's huge, and the Mister has a teeny-tiny tummy).

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

My daughter and I had Chinese food. Don't do it often, but it was good. Steamed dumplings, wonton soup, chicken with broccoli in garlic sauce.

Hamburgers! Sometimes we all just crave one. I am making homemade hamburger patties with all the fixins': big, fluffy buns, romaine lettuce, mayo, sliced tomatoes, pickles, cheddar cheese, onions (all organic), and homemade fries in the oven with olive oil. Can't wait!

Still hoping to have those crab cakes, or at least vegetable soup. However, the Mister has been falling asleep super-early for the past week. I usually end up having yogurt with Grape-Nuts or hot Grape-Nuts and a cup of coffee.

Heck, if he does it again, tonight I might have a PB&J for variety. (Can you tell I'm trying not to worry TOO much?)

On a referral of my man, Jamie Oliver, I bought an Indian Simmer sauce made by Seeds of Change in the organic section of the grocery. I'm grabbing some chicken, some saffron and picking up some Naan, and we're having Indian tonight! It's cold and dreary and I need my house to smell like Bombay.

@Kristina..Yum! Pork ribs! Garlic and Kale Mashed potatoes! Sounds like good eating at your house!

Decided for us tonight will be homemade chicken pot pie with MaryJane's crust. Already have a crust made up in the freezer.

Vegetable soup with whole-grain bread. That should be just right to take the bitterness out of the wind!

Migosh...the Mister is out of town for a couple of days, so I may actually go to the store and buy meat for a change. I am torn between baked chicken and a nice, juicy hamburger!

After a lot of heavy food over the weekend, lightening up with a "Meatless Monday". Will cook whole wheat organic pasta and toss with organic olive oil, tomatoes, broccoli, fresh garlic, and lemon juice, and serve it with a salad.

Happy Monday!

I made venison hamburgers and homemade candied carrots. Finally found a way the kids will eat "regular" carrots without me having to puree them and sneak them in what I'm baking :)
