Oh Nini...wouldn't that be beautiful to have an antique medallion like that in your home? Have you searched on line??
Even a pretty antique tile or tin/metal ceiling squares. Any of those would be wonderful. I am with you...not a big
fan of ceiling fans (in working condition or not). I just don't like the looks of them period. I pray that you find
exactly what you want...and that you post pictures when you get them up.

Connie...if you lived near me we could take that train ride together and just hang around Seattle for 4 or 5 days.

This is my Table Center Piece for Thanksgiving.

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

Nini, now I HAVE to try them! Storing in the freezer sounds like a good plan. I want to try the Cranberry ones too!

Peggy, thanks for posting so many wonderful photos! My honey would LOVE that restaurant Pies :) The photos from the train are just beautiful!

Connie, Buttery Warm Eye Candy is exactly what you are tempting us with :)

Sylvia, very nice picture. I just love barns :)

Well, the temperatures here have been a bit on the warm side, but that's okay, we can finish the projects we didn't get done :)

Girls have you seen By the Light of the Silvery Moon with Doris Day and Gordon MacRae? I just love that movie and it is perfect to get you in the Thanksgiving mood.
What Thanksgiving movies do you enjoy?

I hope to make some Gingerbread today. We like to frost it with Chocolate Frosting :)

I'm going to have to see if I can get that on Netflix or Amazon Prime, Sharon... I've got another night to myself... Time to break out the popcorn! Thank you!! I haven't seen the cranberry ones, but if I do, I'll let you know how they are! :) And mmm-mmm-M! 'Never tried gingerbread with chocolate frosting, but WOW sounds so good!!! :)

We woke up to snow this morning! What a joy! You know, Sharon... I think that means we're going to have to host our "Celebrating the Holidays" and "Celebrating Winter" Virtual Gatherings very soon! Would you like to take the next one??? :)

Girls - Just thought I'd share: If you want to try those Cheerful Giver candles we had discussed recently, QVC is offering a set of two in yummy scents today on 2 easy payments...

http://www.qvc.com/A-Cheerful-Giver-Set-of-2-34-oz.-Papa-Jar-Candles-w-Tag-Search-Results.product.H199519.html?sc=H199519-SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-9-_-H199519&catentryImage=http://images-p.qvc.com/is/image/h/19/h199519.001?$uslarge$

This is a nice way to give them a try with very little risk... The price WITH shipping is less than if you bought them straight from the company, you only have to pay half to get them home to try them, and if you don't like them for any reason, you can return them for a full refund (they even provide the return label)! I just love them!

Happy day!

Nini or Sharon...I bet Connie would do it if neither of you wanted to Host The Virtual Winter Wonderland/Christmas.

And if Sharon or Connie didn't want to...I would volunteer. Connie is just just so committed to posting pictures every
day...I think she is a natural.

OK girls..it's raining here not as elegant as Snow...in fact down right depressing. So, I am going to go finish up on
The Farm and then go immerse myself in the Word for awhile.

Be Encouraged Today and doing something to help someone else.

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

Sounds sweet! How about we let Sharon do the holiday/winter gathering since we had already talked about it when we started this gathering, and then Connie can do spring, and then Peggy can do summer? That way we spread the joy all year through! :)

I have been busy the past few days and I see where so much has been added to this link and I have been missing out on all of the great photos and discussions! I like the idea of continuing the Virtual Gathering idea into the holiday season. This fall one has been so much fun and packed with beautiful photos and recipes and other discussions. I think we all love sharing and this format seems to work pretty well for lots of farm girls. So, I vote for a holiday one perhaps staring on the Friday after Thanksgiving? With December right on the heels of the turkey and pumpkin pie leftovers, many people will be getting a move on the Christmas season over the long weekend. It would be a perfect time for sharing and starting the discussions!

Winnie - Maybe you'd like to take either the winter or holiday gathering??? I haven't heard from Sharon, but I was thinking that maybe we'd do them separate, and keep the holiday one going year-round (there ARE a lot of holidays, after all!), OR having individual "big" holiday gatherings that everyone can take turns with! Let's see what she thinks and prefers to do, though, and then we can take it from there, okay?

What fun!!!!

Heather, Beautiful Pictures!! I am still able to sneak in a bike ride here and there! I have a 3 Wheel bike with a basket on back, comes in handy for picking up pinecones and dried flowers! I have had knee surgery, so I can't pedal my ole 1975 Schwinn 10 speed anymore! LOL!!

I don't think we're quite into winter yet. I just listed to the weather and it's supposed to be 72 on Sunday! I can't wait for the holiday board. I've already got some of my Christmas stuff out *giggle-giggle*

Peggy, I hope that you are feeling better!

Great print Connie :) I hope you are experiencing some cooler weather

It is rainy here with snow in the forecast (only the mountains got snow last time). Just picked up the last of the groceries for Thanksgiving and will start prepping in a couple of days. I've got Irish Pub Stew in the crockpot, making some bread and my honey just made me a Maple Latte...yum! I think tonight will be Christmas in Connecticut or Shop Around the Corner
