Hi sisters! It's been a while since I've been online! Me and 2 of my children have been diagnosed with celiac this summer. It is our first big holiday eating gluten free! I have been slowly learning to cook for this new lifestyle but I need help with good gluten free Thanksgiving recipes but with a twist. I want to be no sugar, and as whole foods as I can get. Recipes, menus? Thanks so much!!!

Also, finely crushed almonds make a great gluten free crust for pies!

Turkey, roasted carrots and onions, green beans with bacon chunks and onion, a fresh fruit platter, cheese and meat platter, dish of nuts. If you decide to use sugar I have a wonderful peanut butter cookie and a excellent pumpkin cake made with brown rice flour. I make both of these for my grandson and the other 5 grandkids are put out if I do not make enough for them too. There are some lettuce and spinach salads that use fresh pear slices and.blue cheese as the flavor. Look on allrecipes.com There are tons of things to eat steak and potatoes, BBQ hamburgers without bun, baked beans, and potato salad. Baked chicken with coleslaw and applesauce jello. Let me know if I can be of help. Been eating this way for about 15 years. |
