...That Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog are "officially" breaking up? It was bad enough with Barbie and Ken! I bet Jim Henson would not care for this if he was still here. All I can say, is I will lose respect for Kermit if it turns out he dumped her for a younger pig.
(I'm not making this up...this was "real" headline news).

I always wondered how those two would get through life -- being what they used to call a "mixed marriage," and all. I wonder if their families' disapproval put too much pressure on them? I mean -- an amphibian can be pretty cold-blooded and pigs are --- well, PIGS! I hear that her sty-keeping was just dreadful and that he left half-eaten flies all over the place. Every time her family came over, they would crowd him right off of his lily pad in their mad rush to the trough at meal times. Slop, slop, slop.
Hopefully they will work through their split amicably. When Piggy cries, her makeup runs so, and if she starts seeing someone else, Kermit is quite likely to turn 50 shades of green with jealousy.
Someone please stop me now!!!!

You know what's ironic? When we were on the Turnpike the other day, we saw this billboard with Kermit's picture on it. It read,
"Eats flies. Dates a pig. Hollywood Star. Live your dreams."
I wonder if they'll amend the sign to say, "Watch your dreams crash and die."
I just can't believe they did this to Kermit and Miss Piggy, either, Nicole. Why would they take something so happy and joyful from children? Unnecessary! PBLLLLLLLHHHH...
On the other hand, I absolutely LOVED your blog story... It had me in tears well before the end, too! Beautiful! Thank you for writing it and sharing! :)
