Are the dog in the background of the 1st photo and the one with the bandana the same pup Vanessa?

I moved my Christmas cactus next to the geranium and they seem to have made friends. Both are blooming!

Denise, the one with the bandana is Rose, our "wild child." The one on the dog bed in the background is Tina and I can compare her to Granny on Beverly Hillbillies.

My mother-in-law couldn't go to a garden stone class with me, do I had two stones to work on.
This one will be grouped in white.
When I went to Arizona I got these tiles, and decided to use them. It'll be grouted in black.

This is the lady who held the class. Her website has some instructions for the stones.

Beautiful Vanessa! Do you have to seal them after putting the grout on them?

Yes, she provided a small vial of the sealer. I'm not sure that the dark grout was the better choice for the one stone, but it's already done now. Will post pictures when they're complete.

My sweetie and I planted 2 pear and a cherry tree yesterday. Unless we use a previously dug hole, we can expect to hit a rock. This was the latest. We are thankful that we don't have to dig a lot!

Vanessa, I love your stones! I want to do that! I understand that the more you dig, the more rocks you get! I live in SoCal near Mt Baldy area! We are in Ontario...I think that all that is beneath us is made of rock piles! My husband and I have an apple tree, a plum tree, a peach tree, an apricot tree, and a lemon tree in our backyard. We love them, but are constantly fighting with the squirrels over who really owns them! Enjoy you yard! Can't wait to see more pics!

The adventures of a Kentucky woman....today Rose got out. She brought back a doggie treasure- a partial skeleton of what I think was a turkey. After a while I heard her barking nearby and took her harness to find her. She had cornered a possum against a tree and it was growling at Rose. Once I got the harness on her, Rose was happy to go home for a cold drink of water. My husband has a sense of humor. We are serving meals at our VBS. Tonight it was chicken strips. He offered two plates with identical pieces and asked "white meat or dark?" We're headed off to Perryville KY on Friday. We haven't had a vacation in a long time. Even though this is only a weekend, it will be nice to relax.
