This is my Happy Spot, surrounded by things I love to see and work on. Tina thinks the chair is comfy - I'll have trouble moving her!

The bench came from Wayfair. I hung the kimono by picture hooks.

Fang, my sweetie, was looking for a glass front curio, and found one in Augusta. We got it today, all cleaned up. He's already moved some of his treasures into it.

Of all the household repairs I've had to do, recaulking the bathtub is the worst. The previous paste caulk dissolved. My sweetie got peel and stick tape. We have to keep it dry 12 hours. I hope it holds because I don't want to do it again.

Vanessa congrats on the tub job! I'm avoiding my tub and shower till I get the other things done! Your Fang has good taste in furniture! I ate Okra from my wee garden and zucchini with tomatoes! Nothing beats cooking up something you grow! Yum on the beans!here is my pics from lately! I got 1/2 ton of gravel in my yard to spread and I am putting on back stairs!.jpg?v 6702253)

Vicki, we also need a load of gravel, but the cost to deliver it is more than the gravel itself! I'm waiting on a second wave of pumas and the tomatoes keep ripening. Time to think of a fall garden.
Today we moved our too high bed from my mother in law's bedroom and replaced it with a lower bed. The thick mattress gave us a workout!

She is so beautiful. I love wienie dogs. I had one years ago and boy did I love him and I was sad for weeks on end when he died. They are wonderful little dogs. I don't want another one because of the back problems they have. I had a mixed breed one and she got so she couldn't walk and I had to carry her around until she died. It was so sad.

My driveway is in and the back porch is built! I did the whole thing painting and labor. Built the steps out of salvaged porch from demo the nextdoor gal did and we hung solar string lights to sit under and chat with friends! So Happy in my little corner of the world!

The tub caulk was a failure so I insisted on a shower. Our tame handyman has replaced old pipes, put in the bottom and the backer boards. He found a pair of scissors when he removed the tub. The lady must have wondered where they'd gone!

The Handyman's work looks great! Small spaces with great color? You ever think about a big blue or green tiny space? Lol! The daughter in law did it and it as fantastic. Your previous owners might have dropped the scissors in a wall? Funny thing to find in that space! Yes I bet that was a mystery to the team! Your home is getting sweeter everyday! Happy Fall!

This is our 2nd anniversary of moving to Kentucky! We've made several changes to the house and a few to the grounds, but it is more or less the same. Also, we've gotten involved in our community, church, and jobs. The property tax bills were mailed out this week and there were around 40 more than last year so folks are moving to Bracken County.
