Over the weekend I finished my 5th UFO. This blanket was supposed to be a Christmas present for my youngest. Considering he's only 1 I don't think he minds it being late!

I love your Easter letters, Krista. Are they completely painted or did you add fabrics? It's too bad the pictures can't enlarge when you click on them.

Thank you Joanna! It's already keeping him warm while he sleeps and he seems to like it.

Jill, I agree. I wish the pictures would enlarge. They are all completely painted with either scrapbook paper or glitter on the fronts and ribbons tied around them. I never thought of trying fabric.

I also finished my 6th UFO. I am now done with my quick finishes and it will be awhile until I finish my next. A lot of my projects are missing parts that I need to get from the store. I'm going to make a list of things I need and hopefully go soon.

I just went through all the stuff I have in the apartment and found some UFOs. I have a list and I just need to evaluate them and prioritize them. I found two projects that I will FROG and two finished items which I have given away. I also found a few projects which haven't been started . . . yet. I'll post the list this weekend.

'Sew' here is where I am at... I did finish the block I started sometime back... but have not ironed it... so technically it's still a UFO...lol!

I like to challenge myself making blocks and then I put them in a binder along with the pattern for future reference.

(I'll iron another time) it's a 12x12 block

and now ,, I have started another UFO... because I won't get to work on it for a month or so,,, as I am flying back to SO.CAL to take care of my mother.

this one is a 16x16 block.

Boy, everyone is making great progress! I'll have to get going. An hour on my studio this evening would make a difference, so I'll head off to do that.

I got this little rocker when my aunt downsized a year ago. It had no seat in it and has been sitting useless in my hallway ever since. I ordered the seat online, trimmed it to fit, stained it much darker and used upholstery tacks to attach it. It will be great to have one more seat, during our big family gatherings.

I finished a UFO last night. I finally finished the Christmas stocking for the Christmas Stocking Swap. Yes, I know it is really late. I will post a picture when I am certain my partner has gotten the package. I got her a few extra things because I was so tardy.

Nice chair, Jill! It's always nice to have more seating.
Debbie, those kitchen towels are beautiful! You did a great job.
Great job Marie! I bet your swap partner understands. Life can really get crazy sometimes.

I finished another UFO. I had it painted and ready to go for a couple of weeks, but just needed some ribbon to finish it.

Yesterday and today I finished several projects:
* 4 nurses caps for my DIL to wear to work (she brought me the fabric 3 months ago). She isn't a nurse, she works fast food, but wears them instead of a hair net. They were made from Doctor Who and Super Heroes fabrics. LOL! she picked them up today before I could take a picture.
* Jeans apron to sell at a little shop. I have several more of these to make - have had the jeans and fabrics pulled for months.
* 2 little girls purses made out of jeans pant legs. They are lined with the cupcake fabric and I added a button and loop and a grosgrain ribbon handle. (I have several more to make that are in various stages of non-completion.)

My phone's camera isn't working - I'll post pictures later.

Farmgirl hugs,
