I used to collect little oil lamps and purses. I don't anymore, I just enjoy the things I have found or been left with. But I do seem to have a lot of small collections around here. I would say that most of it was left to me by family, and of course thrift stores and garage sales. All fine here, house work, reading, kids in and out. It seems most days in the winter are all about the same. But that's OK I'm happy to just be at home. After watching the news it seems like the best place to be. Scary out there. Think I might make a pineapple upside down cake. Wish you could all come and sit with me.

Nancy I love the little oil lamps! I collected them too. Another funny thing, I have the exact same shelf too! I am always looking for your posts, you show such beautfiul pictures. I enjoy them so much. We have a lot of the same tastes.

Nancy Jo love your display of lamps and vintage purses. I grew up with only light from coal oil lamps until I was seven, and I still find them charming, but so happy I don't have to use them all the time.

Nancy, what a lovely display. I use to collect little oil lamps too! The first I ever had I ordered from Blair when it was sold door to door. A friend back home was selling it and I got a little purple one. I love to use them too!
