I wonder if anyone would be interested in sharing "Happy Notes". It could be like pen pals but restricted to 25 words.

Right now, is a time to slow down and count our blessings. I guess we are nesting. Attached is a photo of the Tufted titmouse nest.

Yes, a Happy note is a wonderful idea. I would share that during this time my grown son has reached out to me with daily emails of Hope and healthy living tips. I love that he is doing this because he has been isolated through the winter and even depressed maybe. I love that my other family has been checking in too! Love and strength to all of us!

I feel as I may happily refer to you all as my friends. Friends I must admit, when I first considered this idea, I had imagined sending notes via snail mail. Now, after having reconsidered, I really like seeing the "Happy Notes" here. I think they will have a much further reaching effect.

To add my Happy Note of the day, When I looked here to see if anyone considered participating, I found you are here. I am not alone. THANK YOU ALL!

Happy note for today. My camp is going to open in the second week of April and I can go hide in the cabin for the summer! This is exceptional because my air-conditioning is having a hard time keeping up at 90 degrees! I have texted friends and family they agree that going to cabin in the woods is a good idea! I love it there too! Started seeds to take with me for nasterchims and morning glories on the porch railing!

Mom had to laugh at me as she was listening from another room. I was participating in a teachers meeting this morning and trying to explain a point, suddenly a blue heron flew past my window. And I said, "There is a heron flying by my window. " Mom said I had stopped mid-sentence.

My happy note for today: My twins (11 months) were chasing each other around the living room this afternoon and just laughing and giggling! One would turn around and giggle at his brother until he would chase him! I just watched them do this for five minutes! It was so stinkin' cute!

Ally, Your note made me smile. Thank you! We all need to run around and giggle more.

For me my happy note today is that the sun is shining. Even though it is very windy. I can stay in where it is nice and warm. Looking out at my beautiful daffodils and magnolia trees. Even through this cold and wind they are blooming brightly!

My happy note this morning is the 10" X 8" X 3" see through heavy plastic container that assorted pork chops came in. It is now my favorite thing to prep produce for drying. Being plastic it's so light to take out to my Yellow Rose Cottage. I get a kick out of re-purposing things especially the thick yellow foam trays and plastic containers that meat and produce come in.

I wrote an essay (for a class I am taking) last night; an introduction to the book of Revelation. I finished typing at midnight closed down my computer and realized I had failed to "save" it. When I checked this morning, I found it had indeed been saved and I was able to submit it for class. God is good.

I was checking my grandma's gravestone when a family arrived at the cemetery. I asked if,they were looking for a particular stone. (I used to help mow the cemetery) They were indeed. I got to help them find the stone of a mutual friend. I had not seen his stone. It was absolutely beautiful. He enjoyed pulling tractors. There is an etching of him at one of the pulls on his stone.

Terri it's a good thing you were able to help them find the tombstone.

I haven't thought of tractor pulls in years. Only went to one but it was exciting.

Happy note for the day~
The apple blossoms are abundant and pollinators are working them and all the other flowers in bloom. This time is trying but focusing on Phillipians 8:4 keeps me centered. Many blessings to everyone.

Natalie,
My apple tree has not yet bloomed yet. I love when it does though. I appreciate that verse too. Phillipians 4:8 is one of my favorites. Need to keep focused in this time.

As I reflect on this Palm Sunday leading into Holy Week and Good Friday, I am thankful Jesus gave His life to save a sinner like me. Tortured and humiliated because He loves us! So let us remember, it's not about the bunny, it's about the LAMB!
