Sew… funny story.. several years ago I made a quilt photo frame…
Fast forward today.. I pulled out some fabric and my quilt pattern… finished it and brought it into the kitchen to make sure I had enough magnets in it to stick on the fridge… when I read I had used the same fabric! lol!!

Has anyone used an embroidery machine? I'm trying to battle my way through the software. I like to create my own stuff. Therein lies the problem. I guess most people buy commercial design. Me, I always have "other" ideas. Would love some advice.

Hi Sylvia,
I bought an embroidery machine. I took a class for the software. Gave up. I bought commercial patterns. I had fun with it for a while but machine is now for sale.

Sylvia - Good luck learning the software.

I agree with Judith. I got an embroidery/sewing machine for Christmas in 2003 or 2004. I used it that Christmas and made a couple small designs with the included software. I bought a few software discs and downloaded a few designs and never used any of them. The machine sits, not used since then, and I am ready to sell it, too.

I am accidentally discovering some procedures and I’m writing them down. I think I need bigger patience pills or more wine! Maybe I should bake some scones

Cissik aka Sylvia… if the Passes were not so dangerous,, I would run over to your house , with a bottle of wine and we could fiddle with your embroidery machine!
