Finished another pair of socks, now on to hats for the hat tree here in town for next Christmas. With any luck I will be able to put a dent in my yarn stash... then I can spin some of the fluff I have!

Theresa, I love your socks! I also love to knit socks and only wear socks that I have made. This last year I taught myself to darn them. Now if I get a hole in one, I can repair it! Yippee!

I have been working on some corner to corner squares that will make up an entire blanket once I am finished...Hopefully. I have had one square finished for a couple years now, so it has been in my UFO pile. I am hoping to have it completed by the end of the year. It may take me some time. I have already finished one square but when I put it with my previous square, it didn't match up. So I am making the third one now to see which square is incorrect. I think the yarn for one was too thin and that is why it's not the same size. If that is the case I will need to make a new one.

I repurposed an old costume jewelry watch by removing the mechanism and inserting a photo of my fur baby…
No batteries required! Heeheehee!!

Before and after..

Quite some years ago, right after my mother had a stroke, I made this necklace, actually I made 2 of them using cheap watches and pieces from a cherished broken plate…( from her Rosenthal China set)
Mom has passed but I have both necklaces, to remind me of her…

Beautiful projects, enjoy wearing them. I am back to finding a new project. I am working on a knitting project in the evenings. Making a pillow top out of my white homespun wool, from my sheep Jack. I might make sewing machine covers. Have to take a look around for ideas.

Oh Krista,, you could do a necklace with 'watches', one for each kiddo, sort of like a charm bracelet... and use beads for spacers... how fun would that be!?!>?

I love what everyone has done. You are all so creative and ambitious. I'm supposed to be quilting a long table runner and putting the binding on another small quilt but instead I am being lazy and hoping that seeing what you all have made will inspire me to get up off my derriere and accomplish something.
