Today, I picked some apples off our tree,,, before the Deer could eat them all!
Made a quick 'baked apple' snack.

followed with a yummy holiday Tasain aka herbal tea.
Over all, a great afternoon treat.

That sounds so yummy! Are you teaching your daughter and grandkids how to speak German? I love how you always share some words with us. I wish I could speak another language.

krista,, unfortunatly German is not on the language list at my grand kiddos schools,, but my daughter has taken a on lone course via our local library for Sign language and has taught the kiddos a few words to sign... I hope they will continue.
As for me, my German is rather remedial,, enough to get me in trouble! lol! but enough to speak with my relatives... unless it is a heated political conversation... lol!

Grace, how sad. I know my hubby took a year of German in high school. He only remembers a couple basic things like counting to 10 and common words. My mom has taught me a few sign language words as well. She use to work for a deaf school and was very good at it. Lol you make me laugh. That would be my biggest fear of learning a new language is saying something completely wrong and getting that strange look from the other person or actually insulting them lol.
