This is what it looks like from my kitchen window today. Now that the holidays are pretty much over except for New Years, the dreaded Cabin Fever will set in soon. What are your favorite fixes for that? Sit by the fire and read a good book while sipping a warm drink? Watch a favorite chick flick? Plan the garden for the coming season? Learn a new craft or create a new project? Pamper yourself -- think in-house spa. Keep a gratitude journal or wish list? Sign up here anytime before January 8 by telling us your favorite ways to cope with Cabin Fever. Then just put together a goodie box of things to bring some mid-winter cheer to your Farmgirl partner. Plan to mail around the first week in February. Isn't that about when Cabin Fever really sets in? Partners posted January 9.

My guilty pleasure for Cabin Fever is
Sitting in my rocking chair in front of the fire knitting, watching a old movie like Bette Davis or a feel good old movie. Maybe having popcorn with a Coke Zero for a break from knitting.
Sign me up please Jean, I really enjoy this swap.

Sign me up Jean. My fixes for cabin fever are crafting and reading or watching movies.

Please sign me up! While we have such mild weather in Florida pretty much year around, cabin fever is not an issue down here. Our December has been way above average in temperature. Right now it is 80 everyday until next Monday when a front brings things down to the 60s for a few days before they head back up to the low 70s. Kelly, I share the same problem as you. It is the oppressive hot and humid long summer that makes me crazy!

I love to craft and make simple things. My preference is for things are primitive and old looking. My second love is reading and there are many topics that I enjoy.

I don't have cabin fever either Jean! It hit 80 New Years day and I've been outdoors everyday when there's no rain working on tidying up the garden! Looks like fun but ill have to pass on this one.

Please sign me up for this. It's quite cold in Rhode Island. Not only have the temperatures dropped, but the wind has picked up. Ugh. I have to bundle up then bundle up again to go for my daily walk.

When cabin fever hits, I love to craft, read, write, and nibble on chocolate. The company of my two cats helps too.

thank you for hosting,
hugs

Welcome Marcy. Thanks for playing. Cabin Fever is setting in early here in northern Idaho. Another all-day snow storm is today's weather fare.

I've been on the fence but the wind blew me down LOL! I'll join the fun.

I love to drink hot chocolate and make cookies when it's snowing outside - even if cabin fever hasn't quite set in yet. I also love to sew and crochet. When all else fails I can always escape with a good book - it's amazing the places you can go that way LOL! Garden planning is fun, but sometimes it makes cabin fever worse. I also love to try new recipes since I'm in the house more.

I'd gladly take some of that snow for you Jean!

Hi Karen, Welcome to the Farmgirl Sisterhood . . . you'll find fun, down-home information and lots of support here. So glad you decided to join us in the Cabin Fever swap. What's going on weather wise over your way. I'm buried in snow here in northern Idaho next door.
hugs,

Thank you, Jean!!! I’m so excited to have joined the Farmgirls Sisterhood. Currently our weather changes daily!! Lol. Three days ago we had about 7 inches of snow on the ground. Yesterday a chinook wind came through and there is no snow left, just very soggy wet land everywhere. I’m in SE Washington state. :) Glad to meet a neighbor from North Idaho.

Karen :)

Karen, I hope you enjoy your package I just sent yesterday!! Cabin Fever definitely needs to be tackled as the cold weather persists for many in colder states.

Joyce's Cabin Fever Reliever box is ready to go to the post office tomorrow. Let's all send her some special farmgirl hugs as she is in total lockdown up there on Prince Edward Island in Canada due to a really bad upsurge in COVID there. She is a newbie here and y'all are going to love getting to know this interesting new Farmgirl.
