Yippee! Watch for our new member Beverly. She's been trying for awhile to get her ok to join. Welcome Beverly, so happy to have you join us. Just jump right in and lets all get to know each other, your interest and when you joined in with MJFarmgirls. Check out all the plans and fun we are starting to do. Hello ladies. Brenda, thanks for the warm welcome! I joined MJF back in May. I started off with daily visits to MJF & then "LiFe" happened :) I think things are finally getting back to normal....whatever THAT is. I live in Lee's Summit and long to live in the country! As for hobbies...I'll try anything once! I love to stamp, scrapbook, misc. paper crafts, cook, shop, read, the outdoors, animals....I really want to learn how to crochet/knit! In November DH & I will celebrate 18 years. We have a 13 year old son, 2 english bulldogs (Claire & Turbo) and a newly aquired persian, Isabella. I'd love to have some hens but the city won't allow it :( I planted my very first garden this spring....can't wait to plant again next spring...definitely learned some do's & dont's! I'm no Domestic Goddess by any means, but I like to pretend! I'm looking forward to getting to know all y'all!

Beverly, So happy to see you in the henhouse. We live very close to each other and will need to plan to meet soon. Yesterday, DH and I met Linda and her DD and GD in Topeka. We met here on MJF and have become wonderful friends. At least once a week we talk on the phone for about, hummmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'll just say hours. But we had a wonderful time seeing each other. We all walked through the Old Time Prairie Town and had the best dinner at Boss Hog's BBQ. And a great visit and lots of laughter. I even think we may have found another little GD. She was adorable and fun. Hope that you can meet up with us in Nov. when we have our get together. Hugs, Brenda
