| there is a hardcover used - very good condition for 6.59 prime :) I too am prime, and it took me awhile to realize that i could sometimes get used or even new ones, still at prime, for a better price! |

Well I did go on to Amazon and the 6.99 one was for kindle, I don't have kindle.

| Well boo! Guess that one got scoffed up in a hurry! I just looked again and it looks like Amazon is back in stock for the paperback at $12.96, but with only three in stock. Wonder how quick those will go!?!? |

How is everyone doing on getting their book copy? I have started reading and its very enjoyable. I've done a little research on book club questions for this type of book, and I picked out some for us to consider as we read. I figure after the July 4th holiday weekend, we can start our discussion. That gives us time to read and also gives me time to figure out how to moderate! If anyone wants to extend the time for reading, let me know. I don't want to add stress to anyone's life!
Here are the discussion questions. I'm going to try to write my answers down as I go. Even though some of them are yes or no questions, it would be nice if you can explain why you feel the way you do for each question:
1. What part of this book inspired you in some way?
2. Will you ready other books by this author?
3. Do the main characters change by the end of the book? (Do they grow or mature, or learn something new, etc.)
4. If you could ask the author one question, what would you ask?
5. If you could have lunch with one character, who would it be?
6. What did you think of the style of writing and/or the structure of the book?
7. What surprised you most about the book?
8. Did any of the characters remind you of yourself of someone you know?
9. Did your opinion of the book change as you read it?
10. This one is just an open question -- What do you want to say about this book? Anything goes!!
I hope this helps us get more out of the book, and will help us have a good discussion! Any ideas, comments, please holler! |
