Posted - Mar 06 2010 : 8:59:01 PM I've tried various Burt's Bees products and I like all of them except for the shampoos. But today I found a pre-shampoo conditioner that contains avocado butter and nettle and rosemary. My hair gets so full of static in dry weather and this stuff really helps take care of it and it doesn't weigh down your hair like conditioners you use after you shampoo. So I guess you could say I'm hooked. I also love the miracle salve especially in winter. And I carry the carrot seed oil complexion mist in my purse during the summer. cindy

Posted - Mar 01 2010 : 6:53:44 PM I've been addicted to Burt's Bees original peppermint lip balm for going on 10 years now! I always keep some in my pocket (and in my purse if I haven't got pockets) and it's the only thing I'll use on my lips. |

I made some tomatoe lavender goat milk soap. I liked how it turned out. I put whole tomatoes in the blender and then added it to the goat milk.

Posted - Dec 06 2009 : 1:54:52 PM I love Burt's Bees too! I sold Mary Kay for several years, and have personally switched to Burt's Bees and may start selling it. Every product I used with Mary kay, there is a BB equivalent. I currently use the Radiance day creme with spf, and the night creme, and eye creme. I also love the cuticle cream, hand salve, apricot body oil, almond hand cream, lip shimmer, carrot toner spray, just about everything they make. And it all checks out safetywise. Here is a website where you can check out all of your cosmetics ans skincare products. http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php

Posted - Dec 05 2009 : 12:36:51 PM I also am a huge fan of Burt's Bees! Love, Love the Lip Balm and won't use anything else now. After my second baby was born someone had given me some Milk and Honey Lotion and I was using it in the hospital room, I think the nurses fell in love with coming to visit me because of the smell...I love it, it reminds me of how special that day that my daughter was born! My three year old daughter and I now use it every night and my sons love to put lotion on as well they will probably have the best skin of all the boys. I am also a fan of the Peppermint Foot Lotion, especially in the summer, it seems to cool off my feet at night. ~Stacey

Posted - Dec 02 2009 : 1:56:23 PM Their original Beeswax Lip Balm is the only thing I can wear on my lips. Everything else gives me fever blisters. I have their (new, I think) thorougly therapeutic Honey & Grapeseed Oil hand creme on my desk right now. I've been using the heavy duty day and night creams (can't remember the name) and their eye cream recently. I really like them a lot and recommend them to folks on a regular basis. I bought the lip balm for stocking stuffers for a lot of folks a couple of Christmases ago.

Posted - Sep 04 2009 : 12:57:52 AM I love the Burt's Bees Very Volumizing Pomegrante shampoo and conditioner. I also like the Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet conditioner, but not the shampoo.
A lot of you are talking about Tomatoe soap by Burt's bees....what is that? I wonder if I could make something like that. I make homemade soaps, I wonder if I would just add tomatoes or tomatoe juice to my soap recipe.

Posted - Sep 02 2009 : 3:59:53 PM Wonderful products! Unfortunately I can only use the ones that don't contain the bee products, I'm allergic. But have you smelled the men's bar soap? Wow! I grated it up and used it in my last batch of homemade laundry soap...it smells divine!

Posted - Sep 01 2009 : 6:32:39 PM My daughter and her friend house sit occasionally for the CEO of Burts Bee's and the last time there she brought home a bunch of their products. Honestly, just this evening, Meredith gave our 9 month old grandaughter a bath and then rubbed Burts Bee's some kind of lotion on her and she feels like silk and smells like an angel! She really does feel like silk. I need to try some of the potions and lotions that we have a basket of.
