anyone else a fan of these products? i'm so happy i can now buy them at wal-mart or target instead of driving 70 miles to get it at whole foods! my fave products are:

- pomegranate chapstick

- soap bark & chamomile deep cleansing cream

- hand salve

- all of the complexion soaps or toners, lettuce, tomato, or rose water especially!

- pore-refining mask

I've got a nice big tin of the hand salve in my trailer at the farm. I love the stuff(bought it cheap in a salvage grocery). I like the lipbalms, too.

I love all their products except for the shampoos and conditioners. Their body butter gets my hands through the winter.

I actually managed to make myself a toner similar to their tomato one. I'm still working on the soap.

Yes I play the spoons, but I do it with perfectly manicured nails...

Hubby & I love the lip balm, in fact it's the only chapstick we use. I've noticed no more cold sores since we have used it too.

My daughter and her friend house sit occasionally for the CEO of Burts Bee's and the last time there she brought home a bunch of their products. Honestly, just this evening, Meredith gave our 9 month old grandaughter a bath and then rubbed Burts Bee's some kind of lotion on her and she feels like silk and smells like an angel! She really does feel like silk. I need to try some of the potions and lotions that we have a basket of.

As an esthetician, I've always been taught that professional products are better. But one look in my bathroom and you'll see ALL Burts Bees.
I have oily skin, and I love the Soapbark and Willow Face Cleanser
The Tomato Toner
Tomato soap (in summer when I'm oilier)
Ctris and ginger soap.
I love love love Burts Bees!

Wonderful products! Unfortunately I can only use the ones that don't contain the bee products, I'm allergic. But have you smelled the men's bar soap? Wow! I grated it up and used it in my last batch of homemade laundry soap...it smells divine!

I love the Burt's Bees Very Volumizing Pomegrante shampoo and conditioner. I also like the Burt's Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet conditioner, but not the shampoo.

A lot of you are talking about Tomatoe soap by Burt's bees....what is that? I wonder if I could make something like that. I make homemade soaps, I wonder if I would just add tomatoes or tomatoe juice to my soap recipe.

I've tried making the soap and so far have not hit upon it. I'm thinkng they use more of a tomato paste than the juice, but again, I'm not sure.

Their original Beeswax Lip Balm is the only thing I can wear on my lips. Everything else gives me fever blisters. I have their (new, I think) thorougly therapeutic Honey & Grapeseed Oil hand creme on my desk right now. I've been using the heavy duty day and night creams (can't remember the name) and their eye cream recently. I really like them a lot and recommend them to folks on a regular basis. I bought the lip balm for stocking stuffers for a lot of folks a couple of Christmases ago.

I also am a huge fan of Burt's Bees! Love, Love the Lip Balm and won't use anything else now. After my second baby was born someone had given me some Milk and Honey Lotion and I was using it in the hospital room, I think the nurses fell in love with coming to visit me because of the smell...I love it, it reminds me of how special that day that my daughter was born! My three year old daughter and I now use it every night and my sons love to put lotion on as well they will probably have the best skin of all the boys.
I am also a fan of the Peppermint Foot Lotion, especially in the summer, it seems to cool off my feet at night. ~Stacey

I love Burt's Bees too! I sold Mary Kay for several years, and have personally switched to Burt's Bees and may start selling it. Every product I used with Mary kay, there is a BB equivalent. I currently use the Radiance day creme with spf, and the night creme, and eye creme. I also love the cuticle cream, hand salve, apricot body oil, almond hand cream, lip shimmer, carrot toner spray, just about everything they make. And it all checks out safetywise. Here is a website where you can check out all of your cosmetics ans skincare products. http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php

I made some tomatoe lavender goat milk soap. I liked how it turned out. I put whole tomatoes in the blender and then added it to the goat milk.
