Posted - Feb 01 2010 : 8:14:20 PM Being a fairly new knitter and crocheter (I've made many scarves only!), I am looking for an easy pattern for a "deconstructed" jacket. Something simple, sort of a combination shawl/jacket/bolero. Any ideas? |

Posted - Feb 13 2010 : 8:36:59 PM Thank you for the link. I enjoy looking at patterns almost as much as the actual making of them! I have started what I hope will be a simple jacket style shawl. If it works, I'll tell the farmgirls know!

Posted - Feb 02 2010 : 07:36:45 AM What you need is a ravelry account :) www.ravelry.com Sign up there and you will have every pattern that ever existed at your very fingertips. A lot of them are free too. So you can go on there and do a search for wraps, shawls or boleros and tell it that you only want crochet patterns on an easy/beginner level with the exact yarn that you want to use. It's an amazing resource.
